A culmination of many things geo and this is something I’ve been adamant about and have talked about in this board since him coming out of college. No one listened until Tyreek hill called him a fat ***, still people swept it under the rug showing me photos of Mac Jones in college with his shirt off saying duhhh qbs don’t need to be in shape, what ignorance.

First off, not training his body according to the genetics he has.

Laziness to not do what is necessary to be a great franchise Qb

not being smart enough to realize because of how he’s built needs to train harder then most in order for him to have the quickness needed to play the position.

not evolving his game, in the offseason I outlined three things he needed to improve on as these key traits were not being shown in his game

    1) He just needed to finally realize that if he doesn’t establish the threat of a run this then this a severe disadvantage.. he failed

    2) He must sense pressure immediately as to where it’s coming from, hit the back foot and step up in the pocket to clear the lane for which to throw, he fails every game

    3) train hard in the offseason to get as quick as possible. Huge fail

this whole BS about protecting himself will not work as I’ve said as nauseam , you simply cannot play the position like that and win enough games, it was a ridiculous notion. And folks countered by saying I don’t need him to run just throw the ball away and play 17. Ignorance

he failed at all if it and now its all coming g back to haunt him.

it’s his own fault cause he doesn’t do the work required to be great period.

He’s been exposed for everyone now to see.

I disagree in that you don't need to be able to run if you can read a defense pre snap. Go through progressions post snap. Move when pressured. And keep your eyes down field. I don't know that Tua cares anymore to improve in these areas. He's certainly regressed. Hopefully he's cut June 1. Just bite the bullet

This does not look like a Dolphin team that could beat an average to good team. They are on the verge of letting the Jests get back in this game.

My first point stands, Miami will struggle against even an average team. Nice they didn't let a really bad Jets team playing a backup QB back into the game though.

Average team coming up next weekend. It should be a pretty fair test. Beating the Bills was a fluke. In Miami, Bills having a down day with Miami having an up day. Doesn't happen very often.

They should have lost to the bengals today. Burrow threw the game.

Without Achane on the field, it's a different offense. He's honestly way more important than Tua at this point, so the drop in productivity was not surprising. Many of those 3rd and 4th quarter gains for 7-12 yards would have been an Achane TD.

    Division games are weird.
There are fluke games every season.
    The law of averages.
Take your pick. Buffalo is a mostly good team this year but not a real contender, IMHO. It's really an odd year in the AFC with the usual dominant teams struggling and falling out of the playoff race. Which would leave room for Miami... if we had a better version of Tua.

I get what you’re saying and you’re right, this year in the AFC, well the league in general, it is an odd year. Teams that used to dominate aren’t but my point to your post still stands.

You said Miami would struggle against an average to good team. We beat the brakes off of the Bills. Now unless you think they’re absolute trash, that’s beating an average to good team.

I just don’t get the continuous goal post moving.
