There was actually a much longer video of that same practice on YouTube shorts but I couldn't figure out how to share it. He's throwing well though and looks to be ready for the season...great sign!
The headline says UNREAL! I like the signing, I'm really cool with it but sorry, any college QB and most high school QB's should be able to do that or similar. There's nothing 'UNREAL!' about an NFL QB launching balls to team mates in practice. Is this how low we've fallen?
If throwing a pretty looking ball in practise was all it took Jeff George would be a first ballot HoFer. I’m not going to get enthused until I see him doing the job in real pads against a real pass rush and real CBs in a real game.
Tolbert will probably get an opportunity to take one of the available starting positions at wide receiver. Glad to see them working already.
Of course that's the goal. But for March, it's an encouraging sign that he's taking the initiative to get to work. I'm sure a lot of the NFL is on vacation right now and not doing any work.
