I rocked out the High score. It took me forever to get past the first hill. I like the darkness and flames through out the level. I also like the sound effects after you take the big jump down. Funny stuff.
PS3 News: Sony Plans To Turn Closed LBP Beta Into Open Demo not sure how true it is but i hope so want to play this one
So guys what is the verdict. Does LBP seem like a game that will be a monster hit and drive PS3 sales or just be a niche game? Does it have that Halo potential or will it fall below what Sony is hoping?
I personally think it will fall off quick. Its cool and brings something different, but you can only play the stuff so much, then again the beta is limited so I could be way off. I had a ton of fun making my level and showing my friends.
Not a great sign for Sony but Halo is a mediocre game that gets rave reviews and tons of fans so LBP still has a shot.
I believe its going to be a big hit. Its a great hardcore/casual game that will appeal to a lot of people. It appears to have endless possibilities if you ask me. I will have it day one.
It's such a fantastic game, unfortunately I don't think it's gonna do as well as it SHOULD. Simply because of the price for the PS3, it's still way too high for all the casual fans out there that would (without a doubt) love this game. Though, IMO it should easily sell 2M worldwide (which is still pretty damn good), but like I said it will not drive PS3 sales that much. Anyways, lucky us PS3 owners out there that can enjoy something different for once
yea Halo was nothing special to me...however the story mode was quite fun as me and 3 other people sat down and beat it in one sitting. Im pumped for Gears of war 2
It's seems like something new that can appeal to a lot of people. I'm definitely getting it and I'm a pretty casual video game player.

Agreed! I only got about an hour to play but it was great. Now i have to go to stupid work...hope to get out early though.
