I know you think that people who want Cam fired want him fired because they can't apply logic and are simply out for blood.

But if he could have pulled off 2 more wins against bad teams instead of getting blown out by them, then no I wouldn't want him fired. But he couldn't.

I defended him all the way through the 13th loss. And still defend some of his moves against the true Cam haters out there.

99% of the time it is too difficult to come to a conclusion about a coach after one season. But when you are as bad at your job as Cam has been this year, you don't need to prolong the agony just to be sure. His team was no better at the end of the year than it was at the beginning. That is how you judge a rookie coach.

Look somewhere else if you want to make broad generalizations, and assume you know where I'm coming from.

Cam needs to go because Cam can't coach. If he could, the Dolphins would have won more than 1 game this year. And they wouldn't have had to get lucky in overtime to do it.

imo, those numbers represent the game the oline decided to start blocking, not any stupid motivation game cameron was playing.

Why couldn't the players win more than one game? What about them? Should all the players be fired? Can't do that can you. So the coach must go. Maybe so. I assume nothing and don't make broad generalizations. It is easy to make to case that most would not see much of a difference betweena 1/15 team and a 3/13 team. You disagree with me. that's ok. I will agree to disagree with you. That's why this forum is great. Everyone has an opinion. I love the oportunity to talk with other die hard miami dolphin fans. Gotta love it. GO FINS!!!

Forget the record for a moment..... remember Shotty got fired after winning 14 games or so... Cam wasn't working... it was a botch job from the beginning... he didn't get more exposed because the media gave him a long honeymoon... but all the signs were there.. and remain until this very day....

We don't lose a thing by getting rid of Cam Cameron... it's not a hate thing... it's just business...

You can make changes on the roster if you feel they were the problem. And the Dolphins will. You can't cut out the parts of Cam that make him a bad head coach and replace them with good ones. You have to take him as a whole. Some parts are good, but overall he makes one terrible head coach.

I understand your point about 1-15 vs. 3-13. On the surface there isn't much difference. And from a draft pick standpoint, if my team isn't fighting for a playoff berth, I'd rather see them lose more games. But you seem to have missed mine. I agree the roster is in bad shape. And that the Dolphins were killed by too many injuries. But I was also looking to this season to evaluate a head coach who failed the last time he had a head coaching job. This was going to be a bad Dolphins team. But what we saw take the field every Sunday last fall was more than bad, and that falls to the head coach. If this year's Dolphins had managed 3 -5 wins with the roster they had and the injuries to overcome, I would be impressed with the coaching job. Even if they had the same 1-15 record, but you could see that the team was playing sound football, not getting blown out by the bottom half of the league, and was actually making strides at the end of the season. I would be preaching patience with the rest of you.

I agree with you CNC, but i have one thing to remind you guys of that you may have forgotten, and one of the weekly game management mistakes Cam never seemed to stop making.
Week 2 against Dallas, the drive after halftime, we go down the field, fueled by a few very good runs by Ronnie, and TAKE THE LEAD. From that point on, I am not even sure if he touched the ball again, Trent Green was given the reins, and he turned into a turnover machine.
I still remember the camera's on Brown on the sideline, and the announcers even asking why he was not in the game. I was yelling at my tv-"Cam- give Ronnie the damn ball"
I was wondering if Cam was some kind of genius, and knew much more than I did about the Ronnie situation, well turns out he didn't.
I am not the type of guy that yells this guy or that guy sucks, but Cam really needs to go, not just because of this situation, but of the relentless pursuit of making at least one big mistake a week. I could list them all but I can't type that fast.

ok his 3rd, but 1st major, a twisted ankle and a broken hand, doesn't count as problematic injuries!!! IMO I think #23 will be just fine next year!!!
