    HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE play calling...

No confidence in the players on 3 Short 1 Yard 4th downs. Horrible Defensive Coverage again. I was waiting for someone to finally challenge us again deep and we were exposed in the secondary again!

Yes were rebuilding, but I think we were not prepared this week at all. We are relying on that Wildcat way to much. Yes Im upset we should have WON this game but I think we are trying to be to cute for our own good. We should have been SMASHING it up in there... Im heading out I know you will bash but this was a crappy game from our team.

I can hear it now around the leauge... Miami was just lucky the last two weeks..

    Now my day is ruined!

I sat through 1-15, and I don't even feel like going to the game next week at 2-3.

I have never in my life been as disappointed as I am right now, and I actually THOUGHT we'd lose this game at 12:59 PM. That last drive by Houston is THE MOST DISGUSTING drive in the HISTORY of sports. I don't give a flying **** what else anyone can think of. That drive alone is worse than New York's 30-7 comeback years ago.

It was Andre Johnson on the last drive because Bell had it. It was just in the cards for the Texans.

With that said the two 4th and 1 plays were terrible.

the 4 and inch call plus the fact we didn't even try to do something with the ball to end the half was way too conservative for my taste. I hate when coaches play to not lose instead of playing to win.

I'm disappointed too. We just can't beat the Texans. And seeing Ginn back on the kickoff with 3 seconds left? WTF?

I just wish that Brown would have took the knee at the one yard line instead of punching in the TD...

That tells me they know he is the better kick returner, yet still won't let him return kicks for whatever reason.

I disagree, there was too much time left on the clock and they had too many timeouts for us to just burn the clock, you have to take the points when you can and not play scared.

Ginn not returning Kick-Offs is the biggest travesty for me. I had a feeling we would give up alot of points to the Texans as our secondary is pretty weak.

Going back to the last play of the game with Schaub, when I saw the gaping hole up the middle before the play I knew exactly what the Texans were going to do. Poor job by the coaches there. A timeout should've been taken at that moment.

The Texans own us. Every single time we play them it is always a close game and everytime we come up on the short end. This is what happens when your special teams cannot stop a punt return or a kickoff. Our d-backs had numerous chances to step up and they didn't. Also have to give a game loss ball to Sparano....way to play not to lose big guy. We deserved to lose because we played like pu$sies.

I could only watch the game on gamecenter so I really couldn't "see" the game, but I'm kind of pissed how Porter's forced and recoverd fumble, and Goodman's pick with both overruled.

yah, we need a legit FS out there, Hill is below average, Crocker blows. Jason Allen is always around the ball when he plays, but i guess doesn't understand the scheme enough to get on the field.

Disagree, you have 75 seconds on the clock, with only two time outs, I don't think they would have had any time to get the ball...

It's not a given that the Rookie would've hit that kick. The touchdown however is. The defense had their chance(s) and they folded. Plain and simple.

And porter, while he had a great game pass rushing wise, every time they ran that stretch play, he would leave that cutback lane WIIIIIIIIDE open, trying to go after the quarterback on a running play.

We definitely got lucky on that interception then fumble, we scored. Maybe too fast, but also Houston had plenty of time outs. Defense played well in the first half then disappeared in the second half minus Joey Porter.

I knew our secondary was going to get torched by Andre Johnson, that guy is one heck of a receiver. We got outplayed, we showed our vulnerabilities (Special Teams play and inept Secondary). Gotta love the plays they did make in the first half, maybe it was just Schaub knocking off the rust.

I'm looking for a better effort next week by Sparano and the play calling. As already mentioned, those 4th and 1 or 4th and 1 inch plays should have become first downs for us, but we punted. Don't know what he was thinking. It seemed like they could move the ball on us with ease, the best bet would have been to keep their offense off the field.

    Yeah, ...1 point loss, ...hurts.

I think we're running that wildcat to the right way too much, why not left? You know mix it up a little bit. The defenses are catching on to that I believe. They were definitely ready for it, it was a nice wrinkle the reverse flea flicker and it worked. We need to make some changes.

Camon man no player thinks like that, he broke the tackle and went for it. If Brown does get the first and take a knee there are no guarantees we even come away with a score.

The game falls on the Coaches plain and simple, sometimes you need to take a risk and go for it on 4th and 1 perhaps maybe we should have went for 2 on that TD and force the Texans to kick the XP, I rather see if we can block it or a bad snap.

I mean really there was no point in taking the XP there So if we don't get the 2pt conversion they have to get a TD, we kick the XP they still have to get a TD, BUT if we get the 2pt conversion they have to kick the XP and I have seen stranger things in football if they missed it/blocked it/bad snap.

I agree. But that also would've meant a shorter field for Houston to drive for a game-winning field goal. Either way, we were doomed. This just wasn't our day.

I was thinking it the minute Ronnie Brown had that reception to their 12 yard line. Brian Westbrook did it and he was applauded for it by everyone but fantasy owners. Brown can screw my fantasy team, I'll take the Dolphins win by 1 point over a Dolphins loss by 1 point. Absolutely no way the Dolphins lose with 40 second play clocks on third down and forth down. Miami stops the clock at the one second mark with their time out and we would be calling Brown a genius.

i have to disagree, if you don't have the confidence in your players to get an INCH, not even INCHES, 1 inch then you are not playing to win the game, you are playing to not lose, which as we learned in the Wansted(sp?) era, fails miserably.

if you want to stay home and pout but we played a good game our secondary stopped them in the end zone it was the qb that won the game on a run we have a good team know hou. Could be 4-1 now they lost 4 very close games i love my miami dolphins go dolphins i will be there to cheer them on at every home game and some away games

Would it probably been better?yes. But hindsight is 20/20. You have to have enough confidence in your D that they won't give up 80 yards in a 1:37

    Houston had three timeouts remaining.

You go that route, and it's 24-23 (if the field goal is made) with 40-50 seconds left to play. And that's with special teams coverage being "inconsistent at best" and a garbage secondary.

    Not smart.
