Call me crazy, but I'll take our 53 guys over the New England 53...even with Tom Brady. New England just looks old and slow out there.

We lost today, but I like our nucleus of young players.

    Am I crazy?

no. the patriots are looking crappy through and through.

if you've got the time go look at their roster on NFL.com and see how many guys they have with 10 years of experience. it's crazy.

Tom Brady makes that team, offense and defense, completely different. That said, the Patriots will likely come closer to making the playoffs than us this season and that's w/out Brady and with Brady they are a superbowl contender. THEREFORE I cannot say I would rather have our 53.

Tom Brady and Moss are you kidding me? Moss would dominate us worst than Andre Johnson or Boldin/Fitzgerald.

They do have a few guys over 10 years of experience. However, you take away some of the players who are soon to retire or aren't going to be starters next year (like Lewis Sanders) and they're average age is something like 23.5 years old. I did a statistic on it in another thread a couple months ago but I don't remember where it is. I think they're current age is like 28 or 29.

Their veterans have lost a step no doubt. The only guy that I think continues to play at a high level is Rodney Harrison. That's the only guy I've noticed play at a high level. Tonight their secondary has been poor but he's played pretty well from what I've seen. Mayo is a nice 'backer for them at the moment. In a couple years, they could have Crable, Mayo, ILB (drafted player) and Adalius Thomas as their 'backers which could be a nice group.

They'll be a good team until Belicheck retires or at least til Brady is done.

    The post funk era
Last time Tom played us he was 18/33 for 215yards and Moss only had 50 yards
