Just running wise, probably not. But Slaton is an excellent receiver and I think he'll do well with those little dump off passes. I have to start him too.
What do you think about Fargas coming back?? I have given thought to starting him this week, something tells me Cable is gonna run the ball often vs NO.
My only fear is that McClain is playing Indy the guy could be in for a big day...same with Jones vs Cin then again, NO D is weak vs the run as well
need some help for today guys, who should i start Steven Jackson or Ryan Grant? Grant has been pissing me off this season, but i feel like he is in for a big day and Jackson has a tough matchup, but he is still a all around threat and maybe they come out and show something with a extra week to prepare and a new coach. Thanks in Advance.
FYI Thomas Jones did not start the last game for the NYJ...buyer beware Grant or Jackson...you should be fine with either one, neither rush defense is good. This might be Grants coming out party, I'm expecting 25 carries. Jackson has better value in a PPR.
Did Brian Westbrook play last week? I've had Correll Buckhalter on my bench and I started him last week thinking he was going to take over most of the carries if Westbrook was out....but he didn't have a single carry. Same story this week, looks like Westbrook is gonna be out again so I want to pull Buckhalter back out.....but I'm leery seeing as he didn't touch the ball at all last week.
buckhalter should be a good start today. no brown should lead to more passes his way doubt we hear anything about chambers until just before game time.
Way to bench Peyton and Berrian for Favre and Walter today Jason. Thomas Jones is also resting comfortably on my bench...awesome moves
With the Lions faltering and Orlovsky starting, it may be time. There was already scant opportunities for CJ and Roy to share and now there could be even less. Losing Martz really did a number on the offense.
Just traded Eli Manning for Jonathan Stewart and Lee Evans. The schedules for both are so tempting I gave up Eli for less than I normally would have.
Potential pick-ups: If you are in need @ WR look for Justin Gage to return this week. In his two starts with Collins he has 10 receptions for 151 yards and 1 TD. If you have roster space look at RB Ryan Torain as a possible bench stash candidate. He had excellent potential in preseason to begin the season as the starter in Denver.
help with this one. Being offered R.Wayne and D.Williams for Colston and Pittman? What do you think? I want to pull the trigger. My other two "main backs" are Gore, J.Jones(seattle). WR i'm kinda set on.
Roy Williams owners should see some decrease in his already pathetic #s for a wk or two, then he should start to pick it up. It all depends on how well Johnson does as the QB.
Already pathetic is right, anything is better than nothing...He may actually start to earn his fantasy draft position now that he's on the 'Boys. Now to just drop Crayton from my other league...I am worried however about the toll this will take on Witten's production being that I have him as well.
I think I would pull the trigger bc I would never feel confident starting D Williams and Colston's value is up in the air with a lot of diff options for Brees. Wayne is the staple and future of the Colts, especially after old man Harrison is done. Pittman seems like he took the opportunity with Young out and could have a bigger role. I'd do it.
I would take that deal. Colston has the great schedule but Pittman is nothing special. Wayne is Wayne and Williams has a tasty schedule of his own coming up too.
Addai is out (suprised right?) So I need to start 1 of the 2: Ward vs SF Faulk vs Den Also, Fitz is on the bye so I need to start 1 of the 2: Walter vs Det Randel-El vs Cle
Two more to add as potential pick-ups in PPR leagues: Devin Hester 11/153/1 last 2 games and Bobby Wade 19/210/0 last 3 games.
Ward has potential with Eli dinged. Faulk only if it's a PPR with both Maroney and Jordan are out. I'd go with El over Walter.
ward and walter would be my picks but I dont think you could go wrong if you wanted to start faulk because I see his touches increasing.
Non PPR I would do this trade. But in a PPR Bush can carry you some weeks and in the playoffs having that potential is huge.
I read today on ESPN (?) that the Bengals players are talking about shutting down Palmer for the rest of the year.
Well, the way I see it Boldin is a huge upgrade from Bowe and there's not much dropoff from Bush to Johnson, imo. Yeah, Bush has gone off so far this yr, but I feel his numbers might come down some w/ Colston and Shockey coming back and Deuce getting more and more carries. Plus I already have L.T. at RB and we can start 2 RB's and 4 WR if we want. My WR's are Cal. Johnson, Wayne, and now Boldin..add Witten and Gonzalez and I think it was a good trade for me. I guess time will tell.
Hester or A. Gonzo for 3rd WR spot start? Or is Roy Williams going to get enough touches to be worth it this week.
ok, anyone know the deal with vince young? should i drop him?? was thinking of picking up that guy that replaced kitna...any suggestions?
