Yep need a list to give you an idea of which way to go. Off the cuff I would say Orlovsky is not the way to go.
Ryan Fitzpatrick Tyler Thigpen Tarvaris Jackson Dan Orlovsky Sage Rosenfels J.P. Losman Charlie Frye Trent Green Brodie Croyle Chad Henne Kevin Kolb would go with fitzpatrick but his receivers are like a train wreck this year...none of them want to play for cinci anymore and the numbers show it.... only ones worth mentioning...or not...that are left...haha. not much left for me to choose from here....really i'm only need them as a backup...cuz young isn't much of one.
kolb. mcnabb is injury prone and from the eagles games i've seen (all of them) and the preseason they've got enough at WR for him to make an impact. hank baskett and jason avant are decent receivers.
ya but with the bye weeks going on i need someone who's pulling numbers NOW not someone who is potential....for that i'd just as well keep young.
orlovsky i guess. he's the only starter on the list id say fitzpatrick but whens Palmer coming back??
awesome wanna get hitched? anyway back to your FF regularly scheduled thread... OC and Housh said they wanted palmer to rest his elbow and not play for the rest of the season.
So I can start 2 out of these 3 WRs (my other non-bye WR is Reggie Wayne): Marques Colston (at Carolina) Santana Moss (vs Cleveland) Wes Welker (vs Denver) I'm leaning toward Colston and Welker (ESPN thinks he get 14pts this weekend cause Randy Moss will get shutdown), and sitting Moss. Moss has been killing me lately, 0 and 2 pts respectively in the last couple games. Who would've thought he'd be non-existent versus St. Louis last week? The decision to go with Colston may obviously change as we get towards Sunday. What do you guys think?
How many teams are in this league? I'll guess 14. Anyway you were correct to focus in on Orlovsky given that list. The match-up favors him over Fitzpatrick. Houston D has not made many plays and has been at the bottom in getting sacks and creating turnovers.
I have to keep Cooley or Winslow. Who do you guys like going forward? Winslow hasn't produced over 15 points in a game, but he may have more potential. Cooley is 2nd in points in my league, tied with Gates.
I'd rate them even with both having tougher playoff matches 14-16. Winslow injury is disconcerting because there is no information available about possible long term impact.
Would you guys do this trade LT and Desean Jackson for Ronnie Brown and Braylon Edwards I'd be giving up LT.
Man, that's a close call there. If you're a gambler, I'd say go for it. If Edwards returns to his form of last yr, you're golden.
Ok, crucial game this week for me. I'm torn between two RB to start of these four - Chris Johnson @ KC..Ryan Grant @ Indy..Dominic Rhodes vs. GB..and Mewelde Moore @ Cincy. I'm leaning toward Moore and Johnson just because I see the other game as an aerial shootout. Opinions?
Johnson-start anyone playing KC Rhodes-don't think anyone other RB will touch the ball Moore-close but I can see Davenport stealing TDs Grant-until he scores he's a risk, plus you have other great options
Johnson for sure imo. The others are hard to call though. Moore going up against Cincy is a decent match, but as Striking said he might lose some goal line carries. Grant would have been a great choice before the Colts D actually showed up and stopped someone last week, so who knows now. Its gonna be one of those things. Start him and watch him run for like 13carries/23yds or bench him and watch him tear the Colts D apart.
ok, I gotta start 2 out of these 3 Clinton Portis Chris Johnson Frank Gore I was gonna sit Gore, who is at the Giants this weekend. Portis has been gold thusfar, Chris Johnson is playing against KC, who stink against the run.
Neither Dallas QB is a good play. You have to believe that if Johnson struggles, Romo plays in the game. I'd avoid both and take my chances with other options at QB.
I lost 2/4 games this week by 1 and 3 points... My once 3-0 team is about to go 3-4... ****ing injuries are crushing me. My two best WR are out, my 1st round RB is out, and now Romo is out.
same here...also made the mistake of benching SJax this week for Forte but should still be able to pull off the win. However playing Roy Williams (who I thought was playing) over Avery is probably going to cost me in another league.
I'm down by 37 going into tonight. My opponent has Pittman to play. I have Brandon Marshall, Kevin Faulk and Matt Prater. Funny enough, ESPN projects me to win by .2
I'm up by 23 going into tonight. He's got Cutler, I got Welker. I think I'm good to hang on (knock on wood).
if you're in need of QB help and he's available, I'd pick up Delhomme and start him. Looks at his opponents in the next few weeks Week 8: Arizona Week 9: Bye Week 10: at Oakland Week 11: Detroit Week 12: at Atlanta
