Dang. I was hoping mine would be able to eek it out. I got it to run Medieval 2 Total war just fine (fan going 100 MPH but no lag) so I was hoping this would do. Guess not.

Just got the game up and running this week. Like a lot so far. The Realm vs Realm and PVP are pretty damn good so far. The leveling through pvp is cool, lots of cool features in the game. The only major issue I have with it is that my laptop is barely running it and the load up time to start is ridiculous. It literally takes like 10 mins to start playing the game, thats a bit crazy. Cool game though. I'm playing on the Bretonnia server , with a Black Orc. Only level 9 so far though.

Just don't powerlevel your way to 40 and you'll be much happier.

hey! it works! I had to dumb everything down, but it's going. I'm having to periodically reset but hat's not the game's fault, it's my 5 year old graphics card causing issues whether i'm in game or not.

true, best part of being Magus. When i first started playing one, i was hoping it would be like a EQ's Necromancer or woW's Affliction Warlock with DoT capabilities.

Yeah, so far he only has one DOT spell which is a total let down (not the spell - the spell rules - The fact that he only has one).

Yeah, it's a old Latitude D800 laptop that I've put through the ringer. I used it through school, left it on all night to run renders, etc.

it has a 2.0 GHZ processor
    1 gig ram
    32 MB graphics card
    Broken DVD player
    Broken monitor

Right now the graphics cards is on the fritz and runs for about 20 or so minutes before it splices my screen into about 1,000 colorful lines. But it does that whether I'm playing or just surfing the net. Found a replacement 64 MB on ebay but I'm not sure if I want to put any money into keeping this ship afloat lol.

None taken. It's been an experience owning this thing....I didn't have enough money to spring for my own laptop, so I had to do the lease to own thing through my school. 4500 over 3 years, full coverage, all the programs and updates.

It was a beast for it's time and still beats the hell out of alot of family computers I see. I've kept it running with duct tape and bubble gum it seems. It's been in sawdust, dropped, left on for days working full out to create renders, bounced around in my backpack for 4 years, went to Italy, through the fog in the mountains at China. I had to replaced the DVD player once, the motherboard once, the screen just went out, the video card just went out (still typing on it hehehe), the keypad once, and the HD once.

The HD never lost me an info as I saw it coming from a mile away, it's had games, programs, porn, etc. all over it. I've reinstalled windows at least a dozen times and just plain beat the **** out of it. It runs Medieval 2 Total war well (if you don't mind the fan running on high gear constantly), FFXI very well, AutoCAD, 3DS, Revit, etc.

That said the damn thing cost me 4500 bucks, and died on me right after the warranty.

Like I say a blessing and a curse.
