I've been waiting for this read... Samphin's Manifesto too! You two do a great job! Excellent job, I think you covered all bases. Ronnie needs 20+ touches in this game...

Good job as usual con! Looks like we share similar thoughts about the tight ends in this game. :hi5:

Really good read as usual, but a little bit depressing. Of course last week's was kind of depressing too, and unfortunately turned out to be dead on.

Sorry, I'm not a guy to blow sunshine up someone's ***. Hopefully it doesn't trun out that way, but we'll see. I just don't see our secondary shutting them down.

I'm also wondering if Schobel is out for them? If so, that would be a boost for our OL.

Yes, hes out according to NFL network.

This has amazed me for the last three games, getting Ginn a couple of early catches on 5-6 yd slants would be huge for the run game, Ginns confidence and to set the defense up for a double move route to hit him in that 15 yd zone w/ an open field. Camarillo and Bess would also be good at these routes and throwing a few of these on 1st down would probably make Buffaloes D Coordinator faint in surprise.
I don't know, it's almost like they are saving him (Ginn) for next year or something.

Runnung slants usually requires a tough, agressive WR who will go and the get the ball in that tight window. Maybe we don't have the type of personality for that right now in our WR. Other than Camarillo, who goes and tries to get the ball out of our WR? I can't think of anyone.

And you're right, we should and need to be running this type of route.

Morning Marty. I'm always up at this time. I am a Type A personality so I only sleep about 5.5 hours a night usually.

    Sad, I know.

And you're right now that i think about it, Bess probably would.

    Good write-up as usual.

You mentioned Ginn in the return game. Last year, it seems to me, we'd start on about the 35 yd line most of the time when he was back there, and for the most part, it was that way last week. With Bess, it seemed to be about the 25 yd line most of the time. That's a big difference.

And also, I don't know about anyone else, but I'm really starting to notice Ginn as a WR, wouldn't surprise me to see him have a breakout game soon.

I don't know why people question Ginns "toughness" The only guy who has to be tougher than the returner in the kicking game is the gunner. He's taken plenty o licks and bounced right back up, spent 4 yrs as a GAME CHANGER at one of the best college football programs in the country, and now he's made of glass??? Just get him the ball coach, find a WAY!!!!

And Bess has more than enuf stones for the slant routes and has very sure and secure hands, in spite of the one kickoff fumble he just doesn't get seperated from the football by contact.

He's alos avoided hits when he needed to get yardage and doesn't appear physical in the way he plays the game. To me that warrants questioning.

Great work as usual Con ...

I'm hoping that we can somehow get some pressure on Edwards (other than just Joey Porter), and that the tandem of Starks /Solia can also contain Marshawn Lynch. It's a tall order, but otherwise we could be in for a long day.

I agree that Brown is due for a big day, after 2 consecutive quiet weeks. I think the Wildcat formation matches up nicely against the Bills LB core ... their OLBs are older, and as you mention in the article, Poz is a read-and-react type of player. They're also missing their best pass rusher in Schobel, so all hope is not lost.
