Reading all the Cowboys and Browns forums for input, this is how it goes.

Some back channel deals are working (I think) becauseall our changes are moving very fast and smoothly. We got Irleand without a fight and will prob get Sparano so the Cowboys want something.

JJ is a Ark alumi and loves Mcfadden. So this is part of the swap.

Trade #1 pick to Cowboys for both their first round draft picks and Marion Barber. Take one of those draft pick and trade it to the Browns for Anderson. Use the other for a LB or DE.

We would get a great young QB, have a double run threat (Brown and Barber), which Parcells loves the run game and still have 1 first round pick. We have the cap room to sign both Anderson and Barber.

The Cowboys have stalled resigning Barber after they we all set to do so last week. Something is up.

I've had enough of trading picks; why don't we follow the model of those same Dallas Cowboys and draft talent.

Too much can happen between now and the draft for all of that to take place.

Interesting... I am not sure I see the Boys throwing in Barber for all this too... IF so, I don't want Anderson. Sorry just not a believer. He has good weapons and now that OLINE is a stud. I'd rather use both picks or maybe trade one for Chad Johnson... that would be cool.

considering the Browns have an amazing OL, the best TE in the NFL if u ask me, a good set of receivers, incredible runningback......and Derek Anderson still threw what, 19 interceptions.....i dont think that goes well for him.

hey i wont mind Derek here, but i DOUBT ANYONE would give up a 1st for him. id offer a 4th and only a 4th. no way do the Browns take it, but still....u dont give anything else. he has a good offense and still throws tons of INTs.

I don't think they would trade their pro bowl running back and both first rounders for an unproven back. No matter how much Jerry Jones loves guys from Arkansas. I would love Marion Barber though, just not sold on Derek Anderson yet.

hahahaha...man I love all of these trade scenarios. They really help lighten my day.

I'm not trying to be mean spirited, but these really are very funny.

Why would Dallas trade a Pro Bowl running back that's still super young when their current lineup is already contending for a Super Bowl birth?

Trade #1 pick to Cowboys for both their first round draft picks and Marcus Spears. Take one of those draft picks and trade it to the Browns for Anderson. Use the other for a LB or WR.

  12. I wonder how much Bad blood is between Parcells and Jones right now. Im not sure either party would enter into a deal with the other. I wonder how many and which Dallas personell were going to see migrate into Miami. We already took Ireland who else might show up here and how ok is Jerry Jones with losing them.

nice conspiracy theory. Id take Dallas' 2 first rounders and barber for our first. Barber is a sick stud back. but i dont know about trading one of them for DA. i think his success was based on tremendous talent and support throughout his offense. solid line, receivers, TE, running game. you take a young stud QB like Romo or DA, and theyd be looked over had they played in Miami this season....kinda like Beck is getting looked over now. But Beck probably would have played rather well in either Cleveland or Dallas...certainly better than he did in Miami. i think we need to further evaluate this kid, before we make another huge investment in a qb.

I like to think that Tuna is not stupid enough to make a trade like that....why trade the top pick and in the end come up with a RB when we already have 1 and a QB when we also have one.....if we want a RB from Dalas we can probably get Jones in free agency so no need to TRADE for one when we can get one without giving up anything....and if we're gonna trade for a QB with our top pick then why not draft 1 to beging with? But then again Ireland likes Beck and I think he'll get his chance to play.

    Ozzy rules!!

Not sure why Dolphins fans continue to want to trade picks for QBs that other teams are trying to replace. Haven't we learned anything from McNown, Druckenmiller, Feeley, Culpepper, Harrington, Lemon and Green?

What's it called when you try the same thing over and over again, yet expect different results?

So who says Ireland likes Beck!? - I havnt heard any comment made.

Why on earth would we want Barber when we have Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams (just renewed his contract for 2008), Jesse Chatman, and Lorenzo Booker??

I don't think Jones is too upset with Parcells taking Ireland...if he takes Sparano too then he might be a bit ticked. But regardless this will have no effect on whether we trade picks with them...infact if it did...I can only see this being to our advantage...and Ireland will know everyone in Dallas firsthand to negociate with.

I dont get the McFadden to Dallas thing really. First off, Marion Barber is a really good runner, alot of people seem to not know this. Secondly, they need help in some other areas, notably in the secondary. Thirdly, why in gods name would they trade with us when they and everyone knows damn well we wont take McFadden.
Also, theyd have to give up way to much to get him, since both theirs and the Browns picks are relatively high up.

No argument there, and we dont need D. Anderson either....we need picks and the intelligence to use them wisely in filling our needs.

Ireland himself said it in his Presser. Said he scouted Beck and Cowboys liked what they saw during last years draft process.

Certainly not a flat out ringing endorsement, but it wasnt a "no comment" either.

If we get another RB let it be McFadden, I sure as hell don't want Barber. So he can sit the bench behind Ronnie Brown? I wouldn't mind swapping with the Bengals if we get 85 back in the process and maybe another 1st day pick.

Have you forgotten that the Cowboys took Jason Garrett from us? We are just evening things up with the BOYS.
