Just for the fun of it, who is/are your favorite player(s) in the league that isn't a Dolphin? Mines is Jay Cutler and Lamaar Woodley.

Dawkins. - Or any of the Eagles defense. Joe Mays looks promising. Trent Cole... Parker... Quintin Mikell (not sure if his last name is spelled right). Their LBers are starting to come into their own.

Joe Mays is going to be a hell of a player in this league if given the chance. I watched him in pre-season a lot and he's in on every tackle. I believe he led the pre-season in total tackles and tackles per game. Very good at reading and reacting and is a very solid tackler. Division II prospect who didn't even get invited to the 330 player combine. Great find by the Eagles.

    Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas!

It was nice seeing JT today in Detroit, I was in the 4th row in the corner of the endzone, and during warmups, i pointed at the dolphins stuff on my sweater that i was wearing and a big smile came to his face and he gave me the thumbs up!

Hines Ward and Terrell Suggs. Oh, and as Brandon said JT and Zach for his favorite players, I gotta agree w/ that, but I almost dont count them as non fins. Its still pretty weird to see Zach in an ugly blue 55, and JT in that skins 55.

wow never noticed it but you're right they are wearing the same numbers with their new teams.

prolly cuz they're brother in laws.

Defense - Sean Jones, DB for Cleveland (Kherry Rhodes, Ernie Sims, and Derrick Johnson are all close behind though)

Offense - Roddy White/Marques Colston it's a toss up. (Calvin Johnson is up there)

    Great thread idea!

I can definitely relate to that...with 5 teams I find myself rooting against myself half the time. Like tomorrow I have Rod Bironas in 1 league which Im trailing in by a few points and 1 league Im ahead by 3 and playing against him

As for my favorite non-phin players:
    JT
    Madison
    ZT
    Brees
    Mannings (I like em both)
    Shockey
    Brandon Jacobs
    Burress
    Steven Jackson
    Torry Holt
    Calvin Johnson
    Tony Gonzalez
    Clinton Portis
    Jon Vilma
    Marvin Harrison
    Reggie Wayne
    Edge
    Darren McFadden
    Justin Tuck
    Osi Umenyiora
    Mathias Kiwanuka
    Antonio Pierce
    Jon Beason
    Troy Pomalalu
    Hines Ward
    Big Ben
    Phil Rivers
    Brett Favre (pre jet years)

Yeah, I know, I like a lot of players. Alot of those are ex Canes I became attached to in college, some of them are players I watched in college vs my alma matte, and some of them have just grown on me over the years.

WHAT! There's other players & teams in the NFL besides the Dolphins? Thanks guys, I would have never known. :wink2:

Anyway, Zach, JT, the Manning bros, I know there's more. Maybe I'll remember later.

Best player? In my opinion, no. But he is a hell of a player and the ultimate weapon. Guy can run between tackles, outside, line up in the slot, just do it all.

Boldin is probably my favorite WR out there. Incredible strength in wrists/hands and legs.

I dislike Roy Williams for some reason. He's a pain and I hate when he opens his mouth. The first day he got to Dallas, he made a rude comment about Detroit, even though it was true. It wasn't necessary. Btw, kinda weird you like weird dudes. :tongue2:

Love Winfield. So underrated and so good. Could Alphonso Smith be the next Winfield? Not sure but I like him.

Stewart was the best back in last years class and I know someone will disagree with me here (looking at you Sking29).

Why doesn't it surprise me that Chambers is there?

I think Westbrook is definitely the most valuable player. No doubt about that IMO.

Lol yeah, I remember that. I like some of his funny things but I don't like when he opens his mouth about the organization. It annoys me because he always says something messed up and something that shouldn't have come out of his mouth.
