so my family and i need to book a hotel for our trip to miami in november and I was wondering if anyone knew of any hotels near the stadium? figure it might be easier if we could walk/at least be close to the stadium come gameday. or if there aren't any hotels real closeby does anyone know some hotels on the cheaper side of the spectrum? also, since we'll have a couple days in the miami area, any suggestions for fun things to do/places to go out? dolphins player hot spots we might want to check out? any help would be great! also, if anyone is planning a tailgate that day and want some company let me know i'm so glad its looking like we can actually win this game, before this season i wasn't so sure..
Actually I am still in the process of deciding where to stay for the Dec 14th game against the 49'ers. As for hotels within walking distance from Dolphins Stadium, there really are not any. The last couple of stays I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express right on the Palmetto Freeway (826) at the 132rd street exit, 1 exit south of the 75(Gator Alley) exit. Basicly from there it is about a 5 mile trip up the 826, to the 27th street exit, which after about 1 1/12 miles leads you to the stadium. A little close to that exit, there are a few places off the 15th street exit. Another possibility is to look into Shula's hotel. Expecia may have some specials on his place. On game day after the game I take a drive up to Deerfield Beach (Exit 41 on 95) to dinner at the Cracker Barrell. An interesting thing to do is go out about 40 miles west on Gator Alley (75), and take the Swamp Billy Everglades tour.
