    He should of been in years ago. I don't understand why he's not there yet. I lost a little respect for the voters when Michael Irvin got in so fast after the many black-eyes he gave the NFL with his drugs and Ho's. He was then what Pacman is now.

    Let's hope so. Kuechenberg was the heart and soul of that offensive line in the 70s ... it's unbelievable that he's not in the Hall of Fame. Last year Art Monk finally got in, so maybe this is the year Kooch gets his due.

    There are guys with a lot less credentials then Kooch who are in the Hall. I also think Jake Scott has continually gotten overlooked.....I think some people have issues with a supposedly "slower" white defensive back getting into the Hall.

    Scott went to 5 consecutive Pro Bowls (1971-1975);
    In 9 years (6 with Miami, 3 with the Skins) Scott recorded 49 INT's;
    Jake Scott was also the MVP of SB VII.

    Deion Sanders only had THREE more INT's than Scott did in his career, and he played FIVE more seasons
    than Jake Scott. I still never remember Deion ever tackling a receiver during most of his career, but you know Mr.
    Flash will go to the Hall.

    I would love to see it, but my gut feeling is not this year:pity::cry:
    With no doubt shoo-in's 1st time eligibles Bruce Smith and Rod Woodson up, that leaves only 3 other spots. It is likely that the mistake of not putting Chris Carter in last year will be corrected. That leaves 2 spots. With the surprising Andre Trippet selection last year, 3 players considered better than him, Derrick Thomas, Richard Dent, and Charles Haley all are possibilities. Shannon Sharpe is another new eligble who could get in. John Randall is also a possibility. Also Paul Tagliabue getting in is also an option. And disturbingly there is support to put Ralph Wilson in:tantrum:
    So I sense Kooch won't get in until he is the senior candidate in a few years.

    As much as I hate to admit it Randall McDaniel has a much stronger case to be in the HoF, but isn't in there yet.
    13 Seasons.
    12 Probowls
    9 time All-pro selection.
    Member of the 1990s all-decade team.

    If Randall McDaniel isn't a walk in first ballot HoFer then Kooch is going to have problems.

    I will be sure to tune out when Shannon Sharpe is giving his induction speech....that guy never stops running his yap. I remember him even talking smack about Dan Marino, and how Dan never won a SB ring. I guess that is how Shannon gets off. Dan never dissed Shannon... who he has to work with on the Sunday pre-game show. I just can't stand Horse Face Sharpe.

    I agree on both counts, all you have to do is look at the stats of the guys already in the Hall to see that both Bob and Jake should be in there. What a shame!!

    Miami has had several great linemen over the years and Kooch is one of the best of the best. He was a stabilizing influence over the line that took Miami to most of the Superbowls they played in and helped give the Dolphins the NFLs only undefeated team in history. He is a member of the greatest line the Dolphins have ever had and maybe ever will have. Bob Kuechenberg deserves to be in the Hall of Fame irregardless of the popularity played in the selection process.
