i ****ing give up i have watched SEVERAL videos on youtube and my computer just won't cooperate. one of the first thing i ever did was go into my setup to boot from cd and it just won't! i'm gonna buy a new one...**** this!!!
While I understand you're frustrated one thing I can tell you for certain is there is no need at all to buy a new XP disc or a new computer. This is fixable. Hopefully that friend you've got coming over can get it done in person. I know I could and I'm pretty sure the other folks who have tried to help here could too. Every computer is different.. getting into and messing with one BIOS may not be the same with my computer as it might with yours.. hope all goes well please keep us updated
Don't give up. Could be a corrupt disc.. it does happen lass. Need help Lemmy know. There are some wanks in here that don't get it... send pm if not solved.
