I'm sorry but after this game I learned two things:

    1) Cutler has a hell of an arm.

    2) I have no respect for Marshall. He whines and complains about not getting the ball all day, then when he finally gets two chances he:

    A) Has a chance to extend his arms and make a catch on the first one but decides to protect himself instead of trying to make a play.

    B) Lets the ball slide straight through his hand in the endzone.

Both would have been tough plays, but come on man. You're supposed to be a top receiver.

Awesome defensive effort today. They did a wonderful job. Greg Camarillo is the offensive MVP today. He came up huge and kept the offense looking somewhat effective, especially late.

Kudos goes to Dan Carpenter who came up huge with his four field goals. Three of which were beyond 40 yards.

The win is great and what everyone wants to see but the rushing game was a disappointment

Bashed the team the entire game, but they came out on top and amazed me at the end.

What a finish by this group. I'll be standing up for the entire introduction next week. They deserve it.

ya, but a lot of it was play calling....and I think on the side of Henning a lot of the pass plays were surprises, but were completions. They are trying to switch it up and bit....once you get predictable you lose. I think it was a pretty successful day. Improvements all around. I love to watch the running game too, but i'll take a win however it comes.

we gotta be respected from now on..

If NE loses tonight to indy, the division is pretty much tied up..we have an easy schedule, we definately have a shot

right now I feel like this team is finally totally 'dave wannstedt-free'. It took 4 years.

The pass plays he called was genius on the final drive and the offense executed it to perfection which led to a win. But against one of the worst rushing defenses I was expecting much more production from our duo of backs.

In the end the win is all that matters

That last drive was exactly what this team needed and shows a team that knows how to win, believes in themselves, and are overall a good team. Huge drive and huge game to get to 4-4 and considering the other losses around the AFC today it was huge. This shows a big improvement over what happened with the Texans and like what others have said on here the Fins just find ways to beat the Broncos (like the Texans beating the Fins).

I didn't give this team a chance today but the defense proved me wrong and anyone saying Jason Allen shouldn't be in games is crazy. He got an INT and faked that Offensive Pass Interference. Great game for him and seeing Ginn in on punt and kick returns was great.

Now its time to take care of the two weak teams we have the next two weeks.

    over there
Rush defense and A.Goodman are the MVP's of this game.Fantastic drive at the end to chew of clock, and Ricky with that nice catch at the 3.
I don't understand why we could'nt run the ball.We need to work "more" on that portion of the game. The Wildcat was fun but let's get back to pounding the rock the way we should.
Great game Finfans. They put a scare in me not putting the game away when I felt they should have, but they DID make the plays when they should have.Man,we got a chance to do some damage this year with our schedule. What a happy feeling....woot!

I think its become clear that this team goes as Chad Pennington goes. Ronnie Brown has been, and will continue to be, the primary focus of opposing defenses.

Eventually, teams are going to realize that Chad can beat them if they continue to stack the box and play man-to-man on our receivers. Personally, I say bring it on if Im Chad P. I think it makes it much easier when you know what a team is going to do.

Ronnie Browns numbers may suffer this season, but not through any fault of his own. Great win today and hopefully Ginn and Penny can get on the same page. If we can establish a deep threat, teams wont be able to use as many 8 man fronts.
