Take it as you may They also are saying, "there are some GOOD (and they stressed good) coaches out there, Mike Mularky is out there, Dom Capers is out ther, some of those guys from Miami"... Poppa just lost some creditibility with that statement. If I werent at work id call in.
its either him or Martz apparently. I think Cam is the better fit because Martz is a passing coordinator and we all know how good of a QB Smith is
wish him nothing but the best... hope he can turn their offense into something special, they already have a lot of pieces in place, Vernon Davis could turn into a beast with Cam.
Unfortunately for us, if Cam does turn their offense into a powerhouse, the board is going to be blowing up with.. Horrible move firing cam, another bad dolphins front office move, etc... threads... Id bet my house on it
You're right, but if the Dolphins field a solid offense themselves, I doubt there will be a large contingent of fans saying that. To me, it would prove nothing that I didn't already know. Cam is a good to great OC. I wish him nothing but success in his return to that role, and I have no doubt he will find it. But you don't hire or retain head coaches because they are great coordinators. You hire coordinators to run the offense or defense, and let the head coach lead the team.
They are a small percentage of people though. They just scream the loudest and the longest. The less we worry about them the better.
I disagree.. I think herm is gone after one more year and Cam would be part of the purge. The personel might be ideal.. or nearly, but job security would suck I think.
Baltimore should hire him as HC really. I mean he beat them, so hed totally be an upgrade to their former coach right? Seems pretty clear to me ...

Alex Smith played well last year under Norv Turner. He runs almost the same O as Cam. I think that this would make a great match for the players and coaches.
he def would play much better in a Cam offense than in a Martz offense who relies on a QG that can pass the ball 40 times a game
