I've caught so much **** for that post. Apparently, people I have known for YEARS thought I was serious in what I wished for. It is lke I have never met these people before and they have no idea what my personality is like.

I really think I need to re-evaluate my friends, especially my myspace ones.

Just to put it in perspective. Proposition 2 passed in California. What is prop. 2 you ask?

It means that farm animals that we will eventually slaughter and eat HAVE to be allowed exercise on a daily basis. Cows have to be able to walk in at least a circle. Chickens can't be crammed in on top of one another at all hours of the day.

That passed. Our future lunches and dinners get rights, yet here in California, we allow some of our citizens to be discrimminated against legally.

Apparently our food is more important than our people. In some ways I do agree with that (afterall, I don't eat people), but what does that say about us as a society when we treat farm animals better than humans?

I guess the flip side of that is if I saw a unknwon human and an unknown dog drowning and could only save one, you better believe I am saving the dog. Unless its like a beagle or one of those other annoying species of canine. Or the person was a hot chick. But overall, I am saving the dog.

The human probably voted Yes on Prop 8 anyways.

I made a tasteless joke on Facebook (I though it was hilarious) and got quite a few nasty responses. People act like they've never heard a joke before...
