I think Ginn was the wrong choice for us then. i still think we could have had better value with that pick. However things have worked out better for us. Since Cameron was such a disaster we now have Tuna, Sparano, Pennington and Henne. Ginn might even eventually paly CONSISTENTLY to his talent level. Ginn was a bad pick that turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

I'm upset at myself for falling for the Brady Quinn hype. Not that he won't turn into a good NFL quarterback, but the man I wanted in the weeks leading up to the draft was Ted Ginn...that kind of changed when the rumors began circulating that we would have a shot at Quinn. But for the longest time I wanted Ted Ginn, and truthfully, I'm happy he is a Miami Dolphin.

its kinda hard to assess ones play from one friggin game. i'm glad it turned out the way it did but at the time i would have taken quinn. its done though, the fins are .500. lets go for .636 on this home stand!

Uh, we have seen Quinn play 1 game against a bad defense. I know I haven't seen enough.

  5. First of all the Dolphins should of never been in the postion they were in during that draft. I like having Parcell and co. here so maybe it is all for the best. I have always felt that Saban created this mess by picking Jason Allen when he could of used the second round pick he burned up on culpepper to trade up in the draft and we could of gotten jay cutler. Steve hutchingson was also avaialable in free agency that year and I would of sighned him if possible. If we would of done that then brady quinn, john beck, jake long, tedd ginn, and probally squeaky (joey porter) would all be non issues of dicussion. Like someone said hind sight is 20/20 but that is what I would of done back then and I also would not of brought in Harrington. I would of kept ferotte until Cutler was ready to play. Saban single handedly set this team backwards for years in one single off season. I am so glad that jerk is gone!

  6. Just for the sake of adding to this conversation. I watched the denver/cleavland game.

Quinn did not lose that game. Cutler should of been picked off at least 3 times that night which would of removed points from the board for them because at least one that they missed was converted into points.

Secondly the guy on offense holding the bag was Winslow. he played horrible the second half of the game and dropped key passes. The last one of course was the final nail in the coffin that night.

Quinn did nothing exceptionally great but did make some very talented passes into tight spots. He put the ball up in places where his recievers could catch them but the defense could not get the pick. He played accurate football and good managing on his part. He made some rookie errors which you would expect from his on his debute game. I saw nothing horrible in his play and I think his year and a half on the bench benefittted him. I think he should not of started till next season they should of let anderson finish this year out barring an injury of course.

Quinn played a chad pennington type game against one of the worst defenses in the leauge. but he he did play pretty much mistake free, props to him on that. He however did not show anything special about himself as a QB. It was his first game way too early to really judge how good or bad of QB he will be in this leauge. We still have not seen the long ball thrown by him or really see him react under pressure. Time will tell we will see him what 8 more times this season.

The guy I feel for is Romeo. He is caving into the pressure of the fans because his job is in jeapordy. I dont know if Quinnn is ready to start but I do know the browns are not ready for him to be named thier starter.
