Bryce Brown, the Running Back from Kansas that I have talked about a lot, has ended his High School career. His team didn't make the playoffs so he's officially ended HS. Just a recap of his statistics in HS. He had 1,472 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns his freshmen year. In his sophomore year, he had 2039 yards and 26 touchdowns and in his junior year, he had 1825 yards and 23 touchdowns. He finished his last year of high school with 1873 and 29 touchdowns. He missed a couple games I believe. He currently has a verbal commitment to UM. He visited Oregon and Missouri I believe and loved it at Missouri. He said they treated him very well and he got along with the Missouri players. Its still very likely he ends up a Hurricane because of his brother, Arthur Brown, being one and persuading him to come. He's said to be the best RB to come out of Kansas since Barry Sanders. Also, just to show how good he is, the rumor is that he received 50+ scholarships after his sophomore year in HS.

 

Bryce Brown enrolls at Miami in 8 weeks. Along with 6-7 other FR.

Next year we start out ranked and have a shot. Very tough schedule. OU, Clemson, GT at home. Then we have FSU, VT, UNC, WF, USF all on the road. 9 games in Florida next year when you add in the road trip up to UCF.

No one can ***** about that should we be undefeated in November.

 

Sean Glennon AND Tyrod Taylor both will play tonight.

Talking on ESPN about the Hurricanes, the reporter said Shannon didn't realize how young the team is. She said that when she walked into the building, the confidence in the building was able to be felt. She said "its pretty scary for other teams" when the confidence is high at the U. The young guys on the team had a swagger. When asked about the season, they said they didn't care, they wanted to win games including the bowl game and finish with a winning record.

 

From what I know, Marve starts games and Harris finishes them. That's the plan unless something changes at the last second.

The ball was loose as soon as he was hit, but whatever.

 

Looked more like it bobbled and then he regained control. Once he got hit by Sean Spence and started coming down, it started to come out. At that point, you couldn't tell if his knee was down, which is why it wasn't ruled a fumble. Not enough evidence.

 

Should be 14-0, 10-0 if not for Graig Cooper. He sucks.

Marve has got to stop looking to run every time. I realize he's being pressured so he has to scramble out of the pocket but there are plays where he just won't throw the ball and will settle for a short gain.

 

Terrible play calling inside the 10 on two consecutive drives; 6 points.

Not a single throw into the endzone.

Hopefully the defense can get us the ball back with great field position again.

 

HAVE to finish with a touchdown. That's two drives now we've settled for a FG inside the ten, including a spot at the three yard line.

 

This defense is playing some AMAZING football right now.

The commentators stated a ridiculous number at the beginning of the game about our defense. 22 different players take part in the games on defense alone.
