LOL, just read them. But he said he was not a UGA fan. :wink2:

Unreal. BLOWN out and still whines about a few calls. Gotta love it.

Ok, not to sound like a whiner, but did the REFS really give the fumble to Harvin and yet the TD to Vandy? Seriously... Wow, no idea how that works.

Seriously, I guess they wanted Vandy to look remotely decent.

Tebow's backup looked nervous out there.

The college replay system is still a sham. How they missed that call is beyond me. Obviously it made no difference in the game, but Id like to know what those guys were looking at and why they decided it was a fumble.

The replay officials should have to answer to the press after games.

I wish Tebow would have tucked it in for an easy 6th TD but he was unselfish and wanted Harvin to get the TD .

The refs missed that call. The ball had broken the goal line before the fumble if it was a fumble because IMO he was down before the ball was stripped.
Once the ball crosses the goal line anything else that happens doesnt matter.

I wonder if the Gators had finished scoring 70 points which they could have done ,whether Texas would have still jumped the Gators in the BCS .:pity:
As it was the backups played the whole 4th quarter and they were lacking to say the least .

    Its a crazy system

Or at least answer to someone with PUBLIC criticism if they made big mistakes as this one. IMO, taking a TD away from any team whether or not the score was crucial to the outcome or not is just absurd.

I don't know for sure who we would petition. The NCAA, or the SEC, in our case. But if enough emails were to end up on the computers of the powers that be complaining about the obvious mishandling of the replays, maybe they would tighten it up.

Its a stretch but the bad call could have been the difference between being No 3 or No 4 in the BCS where style points are important .

You are damned if you run up the score and the BCS makes you pay if you dont.

I know Crunch. I think Urb laid off Vandy due to respect for the coach and the the Vandy team. If it would have been anyone else he would have hung another couple of TD's on them. He had every opportunity to do so.

Thankfully UF is still in the driver's seat, so being behind Texas doesn't mean anything really. There just isn't any realistic scenario keeping UF out of the NC game if they win out. That's not going to be easy though.

If Alabama loses to someone before we play them we could be out of the picture .So go Bama and Saban even though I feel like puking for saying that :pointlol:

There is no rule that says the SEC champ has to play in the National championship game

I think we go even if bama does lose. We still have two other top 25 teams to play and we still we a conference champ while Texas may not be.

That's how I felt too. It was really hard to root for an Alabama win.

Texas doesn't play anybody (their two remaining opponents have losing records) unless they get into the Big 12 championship game and they need help to do that. Two of Florida's remaining opponents are currently in the top 25. It wouldn't surprise me if Florida passes Texas prior to the SEC championship game (assuming both teams win out). My reasoning is that Florida is already above Texas in the Harris and Coaches polls. Florida is only behind Texas in the BCS b/c it trails (by one slot, .1000 pts) in the computer rankings. I have no idea how much Florida's sos will go up or how much Texas' sos will drop over the remaining games but my guess (hope) is that it will be enough.

The Citadel is 3-7. I'm not sure that's much worse than the two 4-6 teams Texas has left. The main advantage Texas has is that they are currently ahead of us on sos. But there's no question that Florida's sos going forward will be much higher. The question is whether it's enough to overcome their lead. Their lead is fairly slim. It seems to me it should be enough.

I think if there ends up being a Big 12 NC game there is going to be a huge call for a disbanding of the BCS. Just don't think anyone wants to see that. Most will bring up two years ago how everyone thought OSU and Michigan were the two best teams just to have UF go in and STOMP OSU. I do not think a same conf NC game is good for college football. Just should not happen unless it comes from a playoff. :wink2:

It's not going to happen from even the wacky BCS's standpoint.

UF is only 16 points behind Texas. We play 2 ranked teams out of our last 3 games and Texas plays 2 unranked teams. There is no feasible way to keep UF from passing the Longhorns when they are that close. That is why you aren't even hearing from analysts about this. Texas's CPU score is the only thing keeping them ahead of UF, and that is where the SOS plays the biggest factor. Their CPU score will go down, UF's will go up if the scenario we are talking about happens. 16 points won't be enough to hold a gap before the conference championships.

 Here is a nice article about recruiting .We have landed the No 7 prospect and there is speculation we have a good shot at the No 2 prospect because of it .
