Just finished listening to about 90 mins of interviews, for those of you who have'nt listened to them, if i may be your ears. I believe there is NOW a sense of urgency in that lockerroom. They wanna make it to the playoffs. the energy is different. They are not looking past the raiders...That seahawk game was their trap game..They will not take the raiders lightly, so if they lose, it will not be because of complacency. Here is a quote from our great head coach...he was asked about overconfidence, he reminded our team that they had won one game last year, he reminded them that the raiders ran all over them last year, and he finished his statement with and i quote ' WHO ARE WE" as in who the F### do we think we are,, the man is well aware of our fears of overconfidence, i actually think hes getting pissed about it.....love that The organization is stressing the importance of the 12th man, don shula said that our fans were a great influence on our teams success back in the day. Lets get that back. Players were talking that they noticed a difference in the satdium last sunday, Renaldo hill said that he loves us..awwww, he made me smile. The maddog said he feels the energy in the stadium changing, and what ever the maddog says, i agree with...love that dude, he gives me a sense of culture and history. The Bullfrog {yeremiah} is playing at a pro bowl level, roth and crowder were giving him incredible respect, The word great is how he is being described. Channing said if he was allowed to roam, that he would be amazing, ala Troy palamalu. Lets lock that TRUE dolphin up. They were constantly asked about the inconsistencies in the running game, 'how do you allow 14 yards in one game and a buck 50 in another, our boys all said the same thing...Teams are getting them confused on some presnap shuffling, they said that teams can't beat them strait up so their showing them looks that they have never seen..they said they will get better as the season continues.....I loved this point and it made me feel better. Matt roth is a 280 outside linebacker. he said it.. Ive said some not so nice things about vonnie in the past and i would like to aplogize, When he talks, the team listens, he is our leader on defense, joey is doing his thing but make no mistake, vonnie is our leader. Davone bess coming into the season had some character issues...those issued are dead IMO, this kid is smart, humble and wants to be great, iam starting to think that this trio is gonna be great, their all young, smart and have great work ethic. Their talents mesh beautifully as a group. Their future is bright and the thing i love most about them, is they are all TRUE DOLPHINS. Jeff Ireland lives, breathes and sleeps his craft, football is everything to him and he wont sleep until he gets us to the top. His words. My homerism is at an all time high. Ive never felt this good about a miami dolphin football team..Even when Danny was here, i never felt a sense of unity and family like i do with this team and its future...Thank you Mr H for hiring parcells... I am already excited to watch them play on sunday, they are such a fun and interesting team to watch, i myself am not looking past the raiders.

Agree djphinfan I'm excited as well. I've watched all those PCs (minus if there's any over the past few days) and let me tell you. If you're just going off the words in the thread do yourself a favor and go listen to tony sparano and co. no offense to DJ (and I think they'll agree) that it is much much more electrifying to hear it in the moment than to have someone describe it for you. It's not only what they're saying but how they're saying it that gets you so pumped up.
Thanks for the great post! I have been trying to find time to get to AquaVision to watch some interviews, but pigskingal and I just had our first child on Saturday. Needless to say she is taking up most of my time.....
great write up dj. And I agree with you on every point. I love the players, coaches, and front office members of this team. They all are focused on one goal. And there is no one person who believes they are bigger than the team. Seriously, how many teams can say that? It's a great feeling to watch a group of guys give it their all on every play, not just for themselves, but their teammates, fans, coaches, etc. I take great pride in rooting for a team like this. A team with no superstars but a bunch of scrappy players pouring their heart and soul into making the Miami Dolphins a winner.
Agree whole heartedly. This group of players are a TEAM! They play, as a group, together on both sides of the ball. I think the Coaches are laying down the foundation for something very special to be happening in Miami. The beauty of this is we all get to watch it happen as fans of the greatest Team in the NFL and the Sporting Community!!!
no brother, i watch every single presser from every player and coach on this team, have done so since training camp started. My words come from them and help me formulate my opinion, i feel like i know my team as well as anyone, not trying to brag but i dont have a choice, i have to listen to every one... Iam so excited for this team.
All I was saying is that if your electricity seems exciting to everyone here that they should go watch the videos.

The best part of listening to everything was that there was a message that was trying to be delivered as a whole.....and that was a family and community vibe, they want to recapture the old spirit.
Thanks brother. It's going to be tough to find the time I usually have for my - as my wife calls it, "football stuff." It's good to know I can come here for my "one-stop-shopping" when time is limited. As far as outfits go, she has a onesie (which is already too small. She was 11 days early and weighed 9lbs) a Dolphins jumpsuit and a cute little Dolphins dress. Jammies are next. And thank you to everyone else for the kind words. They really do mean alot.
