    Congrats to all three.

Fan voting is the least weighted factor in Pro Bowl selections, but its nice to see these guys are being recognized by the fans. I'm especially proud of Ronnie Brown.

CK answered a question in the club forum on how the votes were weighted. In his understanding the votes were weighted 1/3, 1/3 and 1/3 between fans, players and coaches.

Porter deserves it and Ronnie as a reserve probably should be there. I am guessing the exposure of him running the wildcat has gotten him some votes that he otherwise would not. But thinking about the AFC, the running back play has been spotty and all over the board. You could make a case for Thomas Jones as well. But Long? I suppose. He has done a nice job in his rookie season. Chad Pennington deserves to go as well, but with Manning, Favre, Collins, and Rivers, it will be a tough road for him to get there.

Happy to see those three get some exposure. I would love to see Yeremiah Bell get to the Pro Bowl as well. I think he has a great shot of being the comeback player of the year, along with Porter and Pennington...and Brown, ironically enough. Kerry Collins probably gets it though.

I feel will allen has had a tremendous year. Not sure if he's even on the ballot or not.

    JPorter, no question
    Ronnie, great season so far
Long, for a rook at LT, has played very well. Not perfect, but there are vets of 5-10 years at LT who don't play perfect.

Chad P., Should be high in voting , just not sure he'll get enough but if he made it wouldn't be suprised.

Cobbs, Has been a monster all over the field doing everything. Should make it on sp teams, despite miami's abysmal unit.

    Y. Bell absolutely should be in the Pro Bowl, but problem is people that don't watch our games don't know how great he has been playing.

Joey Porter is legitimate Pro Bowler, Ronnie is on the bubble (IMO) and Long has had too much variation between dominant/journeymen LT.

I'd love it if Patrick Cobbs made it, what a great great story he is.

I'd like to see Ronnie Brown bring it on home in the last six games, just become dominant like Marion Barber, he can do that, and this is the healthiest he has been late in the season since 2005....

    Run Ronnie Run!

I was thinking the same thing about ronnie. Good not great, but then i look around the AFC and which RB has really stood out?

In the NFC its a big more tight near the top with, AP, Portis, Barber, Turner, but in the AFC Lynch, Jones, Brown have all shown great things but then tailed off on other games. The NE running game hasn't show anything in my opinion.

Addai has had a injury non effective year, willie parker hasn't done anything, LT has had a brutal year, Larry Johnson has well been larry johnson, Fargas hasn't done anythign spectacular but run well on most days, you get a free trip to the IR as a RB in Denver, Jamal Lewis has been pedestrian workhorse, McGhaee has been injured and only flashes of good running, i dont' even know off the top of my head who the cinncinnati rb is, Jones Drew has been pretty good after the first few games, chris Johnson has been good but split with Lendale white, who also has been good.

SO after seeing the RB's in the AFC, Ronnie does look pretty good. I say his competition would be Jones in NY, Johnson in Tenn. and Jones Drew in Jac. I feel he has clearly been better than the rest in the AFC

Thats just it, the AFC running backs haven't been that good or consistent this year. Ronnie has a shot of making it doing what he has been doing. Lynch had a career game on Monday ad it was 114 yeards rushing or something like that.

The good news is, they typically bring a decent amount of running backs to the Pro Bowl so Ronnie, Thomas Jones, Chris Johnson/LenDal White ( think both deserve to go) and Maurice Jones-Drew may all end up getting a nod. If a few get lopped off, I doubt its Ronnie considering his leading vote getter status.

If Ronnie had actually been given the ball more I wouldnt be suprised, but he is having a solid Season.

Nice to see Long in there, he has played very good so far.

Porter will be a guarantee, Brown and Long should make it, and I'd like to see Cobbs and Pennington to make it. It'd be nice to see Ginn get on there for kick returns, but that's doubtful being he's not on the ballot for that.

Let's not forget about carries here... Ronnie can only do what they let him do. IMO he isn't getting near as many carries as he should (20-25 a game) with 30 touches a game. Yeremiah should ABSOLUTELY be there as well, he's a baller! CP, duh, but he doesn't have the TD's (8 isn't enough, LOL! Nice play on words there for the 70's group). JP has to be there of course an JL is doing enough as a rookie IMO to be there.

Porter to me is a lock for the spot. The fact that ronnie is so high up there is nice but a small surprise. While he has 9 TD's he only has 600 yards rushing. If he gets at least 1000and 13 TDs then i think he is deserving. As for jake long, i feel he is deserving as well but if i had to pick someone over him on the team it would be vernon carey. Besides those 4 there really isnt too many other people from our team deserving except for maybe smiley and pennington(if he throws some more TD's) as outside chances.

That one puzzles me. He's not having a bad year but there are other running backs in the AFC having better ones.

    ACTUALLY,

I stated it another thread and at the current spot am sticking with one of me least favorite Phins to win Comeback Player of the Year...
J-Peezy has been nothing short of specatuluar. His much less talk and much more backing it up has really lit a fire under this defense.
The fact that Y-Bell has lasted this long into the season for a change is also obviously a factor

Pennington just dropped from 2nd to 3rd in the AFC in QB ratings.

    Rivers 100.9
    Farve 93
    Pennington 92.8
    Schaub 91
    Cutler 90.7

But still it irks me that Pennington doesn't even get a peek at the Pro Bowl.
