Its time that this team (and I am talking as far back as Marino and Shula here), gets their heads out of their butts and takes command of their own destiny.

With the Jets playing the way they are, a loss here basically means we lost the division and end up damaging our playoff hopes overall severely.

Once again hoping and praying someone else can take care of business for us.

NE loses, and they are the ones found wanting and flapping in the wind.

So no thanks.

We need to win this game or else we are seriously damaged for this season and although we may still be in it, we will be at the mercy of other factors...as usual.

I for one would like to finally get that monkey off our backs if only this once.

actually the wildcat has worked today - a good portion of our yards on the ground have come from it.
Pennington is also a "good thing' so far 9/16 and I TD plus another that he ran in.

That's fine. It's only 17-14. A QB cant make the right decision every play, they will make mistakes even without pressure. Plus we've gotten some push at times today, we just need to step it up.

 

The defense is playing well. 2 Turnovers. They have given up a lot underneath but I'd rather have that then the long bombs to player x.

IMO our O needs to keep them on the sideline for a bit it's a good thing we get the ball.

 

I'm keeping play by play stats and it looks like (unofficially) we've gained 14 yards and 5 attempts, including two fairly long gains by Brown. If you take away the loss of 3 when Ricky stumbled, we'd be averaging 4.5 yards per attempt.

 

Yes I agree, we need to start scoring from this point on, on every possession, that's all the Patriots do.

You know how analysts are always saying the Patriots will take two things away? I think Fasano is one of them.

I really think it has a lot to do with our Lb's too. They are playing back and on their heels way too much.
