I think it started as just saying both were on the trading block, then all of a sudden JT is getting traded for 2 probowlers in the prime of their careers. Offseason enthusiasm for you, insanely optomistic and totally unrealistic. JT for Roy straight up is a possibility, but not for both. As for Williams wanting to play in Texas, good luck to him. Dallas has TO, Crayton (if resigned), and Terry Glenn coming back. Sam Heard is solid as well. Oh yeah and Witten the TE. Texans have Andre Johnson, Kevin Walter, Jacoby Jones and (if resigned) Andre Davis. Is Williams better than most of them? Yeah, but Im just showing that for both teams WR is not a huge concern. Not sure how much money or trade value they would want to give up to get him. And Florida is alot better than Detroit in terms of similarity to Texas
This is the time to dream up all these trades were we take advantage of every team in the NFL and they just give us anything we want for not much in return...lol Ozzy rules!!
You know, how cool would it be if for one season the NFL let a few fans run each team. Stuff might actually get accomplished and offseason excitement actually be justified! I think GMs get cold feet quite often in regards to trades and such. And some are just total idiots. Matt Millen im looking at you.
Isn't TO's deal up in 2009 just like Roy's is? I think Dallas would love for Roy to replace TO after this season, which is what Roy is probably hoping for. That's why trading for him without a long term deal would be a mistake.
i find it hard that det is trying to trade him but i think he would be a huge pick up and he is relatively young so go for it if hes available.
