i think Ronnie is comfortable enough in it now to let him make the read on that last handoff to Ricky. the Rams completley sold out to Ricky getting the ball. Ronnie could have run for days had he kept that ball.

plus they have made it known now that Ronnie doesn't make the read, so teams can afford to sell out on plays like that.

 

after that dismal offensive series, it sure would be nice to see our defense come out and force another 3 and out here.

 

The wildcat will work today, but it will be on the back side and up the middle. No need to stretch the field on them, they are a fast defense on a fast surface.

 

We converted on third and 9 just one drive ago, one our way to a touchdown.

I'm getting pretty sick of Ginn doing his best Chambers impersonation by dropping the catchable balls.

 

we've had a little progress as of late.

 

Ginn is still young. Everyone drops balls sometimes. Why do people ride him so hard?

I liked what I saw after that drop, though. He was on the sideline practicing. The kid is committed.

 

On that sweep, it appeared as though they relied upon Chris Long as the only man closing the backside. There was nobody on the backside other than Long and the corner and Long was squeezing hard. The linebackers were gone with the sweeper. ALL OF THEM!

This D has no sense of urgency. Stopping them here, gives the offense the ball before AND after the half.

Well if you want to get into specifics, the Dolphins struggled at third and long in the first 9 games of the season, but converted a handful against the Patriots last week and already got one this week.
