    Why doesn't Microsoft incorporate a predictive text program (like t9 for cell phones) for the user-user messaging on XLB? Is it because they offer a keyboard, and want people to hate the standard format? If so, it's working, because typing is insanely time consuming the way it is.

    Why dont you just hook a keyboard up to your 360? That's what i do and it works nice.

    A regular old cheap USB keyboard works great, if you don't want to drop the money on the chatpad for the controller.

    I use the chatpad and I love it. Though I don't do a lot of IM'ing when I'm playing video games anyway.

    I like that the ps3 has predictive text. For XBL I just send messages via laptop.
