Here's some more truth & rumors. Hawks Bibby Unaware of Trade Rumors Knicks Worried About Blazers Oden Knicks Walsh Hoping to Finish With Marbury Distraction
Mike Bibby is one of the biggest reasons why the Hawks are a pretty good team. Trade him and this team could go back to mediocrity.
Did missing pieces return last year? Nope. Think again. Not with Bynum in the middle and Ariza back. Top 5 in rebounding and blocked shots will tell you otherwise. The starters at SF last year are now benchwarmers. No one's daring to drive to the hoop with ease anymore. Not with Bynum swatting shots. You see him against Chris Bosh? He got at least 8 shots where he had to adjust for Bynum's length and the fact that Bynum wasn't letting him in the paint.
I love all this talk of Andrew Bynum. Do you honestly believe the Lakers would have beaten the Celtics last year with him? Perkins would have tossed him around like a ragdoll, much like he did when the teams met during the regular season. You can point to injuries all you would like, but the Celtics were clearly the better team by a pretty wide margin. Also, Gasol's a Laker, right? Yup. What about Odom? Uh huh. Yeah, they're still a soft group.
Let's see here, Bynum's improved vastly since that early loss last year when he barely turned 20. This time, he's added 15 pounds of pure muscle, gained a lot of experience, and he's the one pushing people aside these days. He goes mano-a-mano against Shaq, who makes Perkins look like a fat midget and comes out well. Perkins is nothing going up against Bynum. You forget Ariza's impact on the defense. MAJOR upgrade over Walton and Radmanovic defensively. Oh, and Odom's on our bench. Soft group? Tell that to the people who've had their shots altered by Bynum. And psst, in case you didn't know, soft teams don't lead the league in rebounding....

It was a 4-2 series. It was almost 4-3. Stop acting as if it was a sweep. Bynum has matured quite a bit since then. Whenever we won the rebounding battle we beat you, simple as that. We're one of the top rebounding teams this year.

lol, you're into news overload right now. Gasol might not be as rough and tumble like his brother (who I wished the Grizz wouldn't demand in the trade) but he fights hard and gets in the paint. I think you can see a notable difference from the past after his stint with Team Spain this year.
Same neck of the woods I guess. They need a GM who won't pander to his former teammates at the expense of his own team.
maj if it helps. broy was just named player of the week oh ya and OJ put up back to back 30 point games and is averaging over 20 as a rookie...that woulda been a deadly combo for years if wolves kept him with al jeff
No one is acting like it was a sweep, that is merely your flawed and defensive perception. Fact is: the Lakers LOST and the Lakers could only muster two victories.. couldn't even push it to a game 7. BOSTON WON and your team is still SOFT until proven otherwise. Until the Lakers are last men standing at the end of this NBA season, your words about Boston are jsut sour grapes. Sorry but facts are facts.
Calling this current team soft is a clear sign that someone hasn't been paying attention to their games. Name any other team that's in the top 5 in blocks, rebounds, and steals.
im not gonna get in this debate, pau and odom are both soft come playoff time. i dont know about bynum, he hasnt had a lot of playoff games. but KG is just as soft as pau, he's all talk but when it comes down to it, he's soft and a punk. oh ya, not clutch either
Yeah. They're still soft. I'll be sure to tell all those guys who had their shots altered, just give me a couple of days to get all 3 of their cell numbers. The Lakers with their euro-weenies are still a bunch of softies. Alize, Adowna Ariza whatever his name is such a "MAJOR" opgrade over Walton.. hah.. FYI that aint sayin much.. who wouldn't be a MAJOR upgrade over Walton and/or Radmonawhoosie. Gotta love pumping out such glorious team stats when the season is 17 games old.. that proves SO freaking much.. W O W I can't wait to see my BOSTON CELTICS school those Laker fools again and make the Laker fans whine and whine as they spit up some more sour grapes! That is all.
It's the first day of DECEMBER! Call me in April or when they face a tough road trip or play 5 games in 7 nights! Theyve only played 4 freaking road games. God. Give me a break. EDIT: Aaaaannd just in case you want to see what a tough schedule looks like, take a look at the month of November that the C's just had. It just might be why Doc Rivers was voted Coach of the Month for November. Maybe.
Incorrect. KG is the vocal leader of the team and is the reason why the team plays such good defense. That is not soft and Pau contributes nothing of that nature. He may not be "clutch" but that's why there is a Paul Pierce.
I said if they got Conley I would have to jump the sinking ship of Minnesota. Also the Blazers keeping getting guys I wanted the Timberwolves to get.
That is all? All I see are empty words and typical Boston fan nonsense/rant that has the equivalent value of a bag of dog turd. I see it in Pats fans and I see it here. Yea, it's only December. It's not like any of these games count. Might as well call it a preseason while you're at it. I've seen the Celtics schedule and what not. And it's still evident you haven't been paying attention to any Laker games if this is your only rebuttal to the post you quote.
portlands was harder, and the first 5 games of the season were the hardest any team has ever started.
