Yep, that's what it is at right now. The talks are just about dead between the two. The talks were Javaris Crittenton and Conley headed to Portland for Sergio Rodriguez and someone else. I just forgot it, damn it man.
travis outlaw. its just a stupid trade though, i dont even think they were talking that much. thats why portland sent an email to yahoosports and they backed off....the guard position is already stacked for the blazers, with blake, sergio, and bayless at the point. trade sergio and get back crittenton and conley? so out of bayless, crittenton, and conley 2 of them are going to be benchwarmers. just overloads the position more. bayless would be getting ample minutes on most teams i hope the blazers do trade sergio though, probably sergio, and channing frye for someone. i'm not against outlaw getting traded because i like webster better, and batum is doing so good, he is the small forward of the future. raef lafrentz has like 12 million expiring this year. him+outlaw+sergio+1st rounder might be able to pull off a pau gasol type trade. with kevin pritchard it should be fun
Poor Critt. Not even the Grizzlies want him. Still, it bolsters my belief that Marc Gasol was the centerpiece of the trade rather than Critt.
Good points. Regarding the last line of the big trade, that would be something interesting. I don't know who you guys would want that's out there though.
most fans want to upgrade the pg position, blake isnt a very good starter, he is steady but more of a bench player. there isn't much out there though. i was thinking of andre miller if the 76'ers stay playing bad..i think he expires this year
My definition of soft is, watch the Lakers in the NBA championship last year. Soft defense, scared to drive to the basket..
Why would you drive to the basket when the refs are calling more offensive fouls than defensive fouls even though the Celtics are clearly hacking players down low?
Well, he quoted me and it had no relevence to my post. I didn't say the Celtics had the toughest schedule in the league for the month of November. It was damn tough though. Much tougher than the cakewalk the Lakers had. Again, probably why Coach Doc Rivers won Coach of the Month.
Oh yea, because back to back road games against NO and Dallas, road game against Phoenix, and against a Denver team that spanked the Celtics at home are real cakewalks.
Relatively speaking. Yes. And losing by 9 points is being "spanked" now. Ok, that does it, you are not worthy of my retort. Goodbye.
And you're still a typical ranting Boston fan. The kind I see on ESPN boards a lot. This is exactly how they post.
you were talking about a tough schedule, i thought i mise will mention the blazers have had the toughest one so far. celtics wasnt that tough anyways
What can I say, the words are typical from what I've seen out of my Boston friends. A typical over-the-top and overenthusiastic rant. Followed by unnecessary group pictures of the team at the end. Now those are bottom of the barrel posts. USATODAY.com
Yes it was tough. Maybe not the toughest, but tough nonetheless and impressive to go 16-2 through it, as league officials (or whoever) noted by naming Rivers coach of the month. THis is a truth and rumours thread though so i'm done here. If you (anyone) want to talk smack about my team post it in my Celtics thread buried in here somewhere. Don't hide here..
Why leave the thread? Post in this one, we need some conversations in here lol. All their is is news.
Well, now there's a bottom of the barrel post. Trying to claim the higher ground and fleeing when ammo's run out. And if the retort is yet another pointless and overzealous rant with the sole intent to be nothing more but actual smack talk, thanks for refraining.
i never talked smack? i said kg is soft, thats a fact. except to arrogant celtic fans who know everything.
I have friends like that. One of them was gloating over the Pats win more than a week ago. And that was today. Mention the fact that they lost this weekend and they try to divert it to the fact that Miami had a weak matchup. And he still thinks Joey Porter isn't a good LB.
Lol, well if you wish to talk in the Celtics thread, feel free to. I was just saying to have a conversation in this thread since there never really is one. Its always news. Its up to you man.
I wanted to leave the thread because it was a rumors thread that went way off topic.. didn't want to keep it going but if alen don't care then I don't care. Nothing to do with high and mighty, though.
Damn, it is not my day lol. I meant that there are never long arguments. More of a three-to-four posts of Boik sucking up to LeBron James and how time has to pass by to get him to NY while you make a funny insult, Don wonders what the Clippers are doing, Enforcer wonders how many times the Pacers can trade for the same player, BK whines about the Wolves being the Celtics farm team and Felix talks highly of the Blazers. Boik, dont ban me or kill me for that matter.
I think that tonight, Boston is doing a pretty good job of showing Orlando where the Magic is really at lol
We did not need to show them they knew where it was they are playing us because they want to get some of our Magic.
