Need more Heat and Magic fans to show up I guess since this is a forum on a Florida team. I enjoyed debating with Section on the Heat on FH though. While we're on that matter...fixed. Jealous? No. I'm happy we got our 3-peat in the Shaq era and more consistent playoff appearances while the Celtics were a perennial lottery team before McFail bailed his old team out. Back to the JTT thread with you lest this becomes the Boston Celtics thread.
don't start with that. Boston was the more aggressor of the 2 and the refs always appeal to the more aggressive team. Look at what the Hawks did.
Did you know I was a Celtics fan Or am I a Celtics fan No, I'm not a Celtics fan. I hate all things Boston.
Celtics fans and lakers fans going at it... Genital warts or Crabs? how do I choose? Lakers have the better all-time roster...the Celtics have the banners..... tough call as to which franchise is better.
We gave you Shaq, you should be grateful. People here on the radio were throwing around the Heat as places Odom could be traded to. Any speculation on your end?
Steph is a clown. Dont even know why they publish anything the dope has to say. Ya, Q is the backstabber when he and Duhon are out there playing hurt on a team already shorthanded. Theyre the ones who wear out their welcome at every stop? Please. Stephon Benchbury had a chance to be great, instead hes just always remained the same dopey me first smug troll hes always been. Or a "super Psycho-therapist" Your right the lakers won ony 2 games and Boston won the series. Theres no taking that away. But you cant honestly sit there and say that one of the top young bigs in the game wouldnt have made an impact. Sorry bro, it should be plain for any basketball fan that Bynum is an impact player and in any given game can put up 15 and 10 with a couple blocks. To act like that wouldnt matter is pretty foolish. I dont mean to be critical of you but facts are facts and fact is Bynum is light years better then Kendrick Perkins who is a complete joke as an offensive player. Perkins game consists of putbacks and dunks, Bynum has polish and his game is much more refined. It may or may not change the end result but man I hope LAL gets a chance to lay it to Boston this year with a healthy squad.
Nah keep the Celtics lovefest in one thread so I only have 1 thread to move to the recycling bin Damn, talk about teams I cant stand.
d rose is killing it. theres a lot of good rookies rose beasly mayo oden rudy morrow had a few good games gasol augustine george hill is doing really good brook lopez has been doing good too chalmers batum doing good as a starter even jason thompson who is really really raw
Rondo just keeps getting better and better. And Leon Powe (Pow, as Phil would say) continues to impress. Nice win last night.
That rumor has been around for a year now. It makes perfect sense in that we can probably keep him and then add a max player next season or in 2010.
Rockets McGrady Out Three Weeks Bulls Hughes Not Happy Pacers O'Brien Says "Lakers Run Great Offense" Teams Interested in 'Starbury' Kings Theus On Hot-Seat? Why Boozer May Be Done In Utah Trouble In PHX?
how many teams are planning their cap to get a big name FA in '10? i dont know the numbers but it seems like, teams planning around signing a big time free agent>>big name free agents in '10
Well I mean with all the studs out there every team should land 1-2 very good players. I mean the list starts with Lebron, Bosh, Wade, Amare, and Dirk but theres also guys like Joe Johnson, Redd, Nash, Ray Allen, Josh Howard, etc. Its going to be an incredible year for Fa's and an incredible opportunity for some teams to rebuild (or screw up further). Conversely it means 09 is going to be a dry year for FA's in all probablity because theres simply nothing like the 2010 class available in 09. I mean theres some good talent but nothing spectacular. Also for anyone who misses out in 2010, theres always Chris Paul and Dwight Howard in 2011.
I've seen worse posts on here from Celtics fans. Even more delusional was calling Ariza's impact not important when even BSPN made mention of how important it was. The Laker flags aren't stupid and they certainly are no more an indication of fan loyalty than wearing a jersey. There is no point in bringing that out. You might as well harass anyone who wears a Dolphins jersey out in public.
They aren't the only ones. But for an organization that's notoriously pro-Boston, it says something. Any sportswriter that pays attention to the Lakers understands it.
ariza would've had a impact on the series but still celtics would've won it. ariza doesnt stop the lakers from choking a huge lead at home in game 4...bynum+ariza=7 games
Ariza would've certainly been a better defensive option than Luke Walton and Radmanovic. But that's in the past and hypothetical. Right now, he's contributing to a lot of our steals and in the paint scores. And he's been instrumental in shutting down opposing SF's like Carmelo and Artest this year.
