Thomas Jones has one of the easiest matchups he'll ever get from this point on. Start him.

I'd look at Jax's progress. I have him benched but if he upgrades to probable, I might give him a look. Might get some yards through the air because that's where to hit us. If he's still questionable or worse, then keep an eye on Jacobs/Ward.

Definitely start Miami. St. Louis is a prime target for sacks. We might not get picks since our CB's have regressed to having stone hands again but we'll have a great opportunity to get sacks by the bundle. If I'm Joey Porter, my mouth is salivating not at the turkey but at this matchup. If S-Jax is still out, then we'll also likely give up few points.

I would highly recommend not starting Philly anywhere this week. McNabb and the offense is sputtering so that means their D will be on the field for a long time and they will get tired. Plus, it's against an extremely dangerous Arizona offense.

Cooley's a #1 TE and Campbell will need a safety net when the Giants blitz. He has an pretty poor track record against NY though. Scaife has a great matchup but I wonder if the Titans will run the ball more especially after White's outburst and the fact that running will be easier than passing here. I usually play conservative with my TE's which would be Cooley but if you really need the points out of the TE spot, take a gamble with Scaife and hope they pass more.

I can't complain. I wasn't too happy to see Johnson and White do well since my opponent was starting them both but starting Westbrook over Hightower pretty much negated that. :D

Some real tough decisions in my first playoff game:

I need an RB to start along with Slaton. Choosing 1 between:

    Dunn @ Car

    Sammy Morris @ Sea

    Fargas @ SD

Then I need to choose between:

    Cotchery @ SF

    Bradley @ Den

    Thanks

I like Fargas. He's been pretty dependable lately for me while Westbrook and Brown were iffy. The Chargers run D is not as it once was. Morris could have a big day but it's always a tossup when it comes to the Patsies.

Cotchery for now but keep an eye out on Bradley's condition. He was on a hotstreak before his injury and that injury really limited him against the Raiders.

Forgot about that. I dunno if Dunn can repeat his previous success against the Panthers with Carnell Williams likely to get more reps. In any other league, I'd recommend Fargas but I guess with PPR, Dunn is about equally as valuable. You can start either one really. Keep an eye out if there's any indication Cadillac will be stealing more reps.

Hopefully it's not a share. But regardless, in the one league I have Dunn, he's benched (only holding onto him because eventually they're going to shut down Brandon Jacobs before the playoffs). He should do fine for your team though.

    Thanks, I hope so.

He didn't do too well this week with only 7 points. But that whole offense looked messed up and this was the only game the whole year he didnt catch a pass.

I'm more concerned on my whole season riding on Rivers Thursday night against Oak.

That'll depend on which Oakland D shows up. And Rivers did very poorly the last time. His line is not protecting him at all. I'm guessing 180-190 yards, maybe a TD and a pick this time. Who else do you have at QB?

Campbell @ Bal which is another disaster.

Only QBs on the wire worth mentioning are Shaub and Bulger.

Yeesh. Though I guess if Schaub gets the start, GB's secondary has been a total pushover with the absence of Al Harris and 0 production out of the RDE position so it'd be a great matchup. With weapons like Johnson, Walter, Slaton, and Daniels, Schaub could be a pretty good play.

Yea Im gonna try to claim him off the wire and I'll probably end up starting him. I would be starting Slaton too so I would have to see at least 2 TDs there somewhere.

o i shall. If all else fails ill probably pick up Ferotte or Rosenfels off the wire. Shaub should be aright tho.

Its a a safe play for me with starting Slaton also.

I have too many running backs this week with good matchups! I can't decide, which 2 would you start?

    Ronnie Brown vs. Buff
    S.Jackson @ ARI
    P.Hillis vs. KC
    T.Jones @ SF
    S.Slaton @ GB

I have Slaton and Jones in now, but Hillis is intriguing this week vs. KC. Playoff hopes on the line! Win and I'm in.. what ya think??

lol, normally if you have good RB's you don't really need to worry much. I know I don't.

I would start Jones since he's on a roll. Then it's either Slaton or Hillis and you really could go no wrong with either. I'd pick Hillis, my new favorite RB in Denver who I hope Shanny sticks with fully this time. I love that he's going against a poor run D anchored by Glenn Dorsey and the Denver offense looks resurgent now that they've settled on a RB (see that Shanny?).

I've been reading that TB wants to give Cadillac more carries this week. Not good news if I was planning on starting Dunn.

I'm debating benching him. But would I do that for Fargas tonight against SD or do I wait and start Morris against Sea?

Blah, both of those guys might outscore him. But, Dunn is probably the safest bet to at least get me 8 points. This is annoying.

Read that too and it was something I mentioned earlier. I dunno if you did start Fargas, 50 yards rushing and 9 yards receiving wasn't too good but it's what seems reasonable out of Dunn as well. But I'd start Dunn over Morris if you haven't already. The Pats RB is just too unstable for my liking.

Turner, S-Jax (if still healthy), and Hightower would be my picks. If Jackson's not 100%, swap him with Addai. I like the matchup against Cincy. Hightower's been in a major slump since being named starter because the Cards have been very pass-oriented (which I absolutely love). Still, he had a great game against that team so it may happen again.

I didnt start Fargas and I think Im gonna stick with Dunn since he catches a lot of passes.

Rivers completes 10 passes, 3 of which are TDs. Ouch.

Bounced back from a previously bad game. Vincent Jackson is unreal. Just the kind of big target WR I wanted to see on this team. Dunn should be getting 3rd down reps at least. Anything more is a questionmark.

    Need two backs to start.

    Chris Johnson vs. Cleveland
    Steve Slaton @ GB
    Tim Hightower vs. St. Louis
    Peyton Hillis vs. KC
    Le'Ron McClain vs. Washington
    Michael Turner @ NO

1 point for every 20 yards rushing and 1 PPR.

sometimes its easier to have only 2 good Players rather then being stacked. Especially come playoffs where every move counts. You make the wrong one and youre done.

Hillis, Turner. Even Slaton and Johnson are good ones too. But I benched Johnson for Hillis in one league.

No, this is Shanny's thinking: "Man, a single back with a majority of the carries in consecutive games? I wonder how I'm going to find another back to share 50/50 with Hillis. I know! Tatum Bell. He's great at stealing things."

What RB should I start--Tim Hightower or Tashard Choice?

I currently have Hightower because of the matchup against STL and the last time he played them he had his best game. However, he splits carries and if he isn't getting a TD, he isn't much of a play these days.

Tashard is playing the Steelers, but I wonder if he gets a couple yards from the Steelers not expecting much from their run game and maybe a gift TD.
