Just learned that OJ Simpson got 33 years for his stint in Vegas , and once again, I know this opinion may not be popular, but this sentence was too severe, IMO. I know more likely than not, he was responsible for the death of Ms. Simpson and Ron Goldman, and he may have gotten away with murder, but should this have an affect on a silly stupid armed robbery charge? I mean 33 years....? He wont live long enough to get out.... Very sad to hear that such a great Running-Back fell so far. It makes one really think..... d-1
He can rot in hell for all I care. Yes it's sad when someone falls like that, but I have no mercy when they jump.
From what I heard, he will likely not serve more than 10 years. The judge did 33 because people typically get parole around 1/3 of the way through sentences. Frankly I dont care, and agree with Opie. Good riddance scumbag. Its shame you sullied the NFL and your career in this manner.
