I thought I'd offer a trip down memory lane, beginning with a pic from the still perfect season. Dolphins' most memorable playoff moments -- South Florida Sun-Sentinel.com
Lamar Smith- 40 carries 209 against the colts is my most memorable moment since I didn't get to see the amazing days. I never knew this...
Ah, yes... that was an AMAZING game and an incredible performance by Lamar. I was literally jumping on the sofa, screaming into the phone with PhinsFanHusband (who was at work, poor guy).
No way, the 77 "AJ Duhe" game against the jests...the score was only 14-0, but the beat down was 5 times that much... Of course, my most hated playoff moment was the Jax beatdown we took, The Legends last game...I nearly cried...
I was about 6-7 years old when the Dolphins won their back to back SB's....I remember us winning them, but I didn't really appreciate it at the time. I also remember crying when the Raiders beat us in the AFC Championship Game to end our Superbowl Dynasty (The Stabler Sea of Hand's Game)....that game and the loss to San Diego in OT in the early 80's scarred me for life. I just wish Dan would have been able to win a SB ring...he just never had the support to get it done.
