    First of all, i dont know if everyone knows but Joey Porter has stopped talking to the local media so says andy kent. Personally for me, i'am glad he got the memo that it was time for him to keep his mouth shut and play ball, he has and i love it.

    As farfetched as it sounds, i wrote a thread a week ago about Ocho or Plax....after seeing joeys interview on the NFL network about plax, my thread seems to have a little more validity. With the ties of parcells and coughlin, the brotherhood that porter and plax have, pending on plax's future in the slammer i don't think its too out of the realm, If Joey vouches for him and plax dedicates himself to our team i would be all for it.

    I think we all should stop and pinch ourselves real good...GUYS!!!! WE ARE ON THE VERGE OF SOMETHING VERY SPECIAL, MAYBE HISTORY....This is real, and we deserve it. I can't imagine how nervous i will be if we get to that jet game and its all for the marbles baby......by the way i just saw a clip about the possibility of cowher coaching the jets if mangini chokes....Thats beautiful for us, let them start thinking about sh@@ like that, thats what they get for going all ney york yankee on the NFL and buying your team and selling your soul {pennington}

    I would like to tell you how much fun it is to watch the redskins lose, i swea,r i love the concept of building thru the draft and winning with true dolphins, portis and zorn fighting makes me happy happy happy, portis is a punk anyway. {day jus dogs man} {his comments on mike vick}

    Our team gets it guys, i was worried as hell about the niners but i now believe our team understands the importance of the moment and will play good football on sunday.

    Chad Pennington and Joey Porter....somebody needs to do a national story on these two incredible leaders leading our franchise from the depths to possibly something majical, They are not getting enough credit, boy are we set in the leadership dept on this team. WHO RIDE...WE RIDE....WHO RIDE... WE RIDE...WHO RIDE ON THREE...1 2 3...WE RIDE!!

    Do ya'll realise our corners are playing at a pro bowl level?, they are oozing confidence right now and playing with gracefull fury.

    The limited carries on the R n R express will now start to pay dividends.

    Jake Long....All Pro Rookie Left tackle.....hows that sound?? Guys a freakin animal.

    I really loved the shot off brandon london on the sideline near the end of the game, very touching moment. I think he realised his dream came true when he was split wide right and was the only receiver on the field, that guy will become a hero here if he can ball.

    I would of signed channing this week if i was the FO. He played a nice physical game against his worst nightmare.

    I heard Cefalo make some good points about the job that sparano and his staff have done during the adverse situations, fixing the secondary, the oline and receiver.

    After rewatching the game, kendall lankford was ballin, and the oline did a nice job.

    The only thing that can stop this momentum is a bad showing by our fans on sunday, ive talked about at length before and how devastating it could be for a team. I will spare you those thoughts but lets get to that game and get a look at the majic that may happen, lets send them off on their quest with a great crowd.

    Well I was rooting for Washington last week for obvious reasons, but it would sure be nice for our draft selection if they lose out the rest of the way :P

    Nice read Dj and I love the enthusiasm. Our teams success has been a long time coming and it has taken the right leadership with the right mentality to bear fruits. They may not be ripe yet but they are maturing. One thing that I love about this team is that they correct problems as fast as possible. Remember how bad the special teams were playing? Every week they tend to correct something. We do have a great thing going here, now lets see if they can carry it on to the end of the season and beyond. :knucks:

    Nice post DJ but JP was already talking to the media again before you made this post, and yes it was about guns, but it was really nothing dumb.

    If we manage to win our next two games, the Jets game will be over before it even starts. That whole organization and it's fans are TERRIFIED of a returning Chad Pennington right now. We are already so badly in their heads, that they may choke it all away before we even get up there.

    On the flip side, the Dolphins are SALIVATING for a chance to bring Chad home for all the marbles.

    One team will be playing scared, while the other will be JACKED. If it does all come down to the end, for the Jets, it will make the fake spike game seem like a win.

    That would be so friggin' sweet! My hatred of the JETS runs so deep that I have become an anti-Favre guy after being a fan! I would LOVE to see the Dolphins shutdown Thomas and intercept Brett about 3 times!

    he does say some stupid things like 'he only shot himself, whats the big deal', but it is who he is and i'am willing to accept him because he's being honest and he's leading our defense with his personality, he's not perfect. This subject is different for me then dissing other players and franchises.

    I like how you think but superstar players is our kryptonite and Brett Farve is full of it.

    The Jets coasted last week, they can play it close to the vest until the final game and i think they know it. Its gonna go down brother.

    Good point. If this team does make the postseason, it could be dangerous if it's able to keep games close and/or secure leads in the fourth quarter.

    Brown, Williams, Cobbs, and Polite could combine for some major clock-killing duty, which is key in the postseason.

    were peaking in late december as a team, sense of urgency is there, the focus is there, were playin our best ball of the season right now, great coaching and a strong bretheren on our team is so gratifying. were playing such a team game.

    Really excited about this week, i think we play a good ballgame for the home fans, i think theres some pressure on them to do that {which is a good thing and will keep the team from any sort of letup}.

    Here's an odd statistic that will have no impact on the Jets game, but worth noting nonetheless.. :lol:

    The Jets went undefeated in divisional road games. NE and Miami are both 2-0 in divisional road games. When is the last time 3 teams in the division went undefeated in those pivitol games?

    (I don't know the answer, but I'm sure it hasn't happened alot)

    What a difference a year makes!
    Last year at this time, the team was in shambles with worries of going winless and every media source out there said that one of the worst off-season moves in the NFL was Miami signing Joey Porter...

    What an amazing feeling it must be for him to lead this team, to know that he's done it before and reached the pinnacle must give him so much confidence and believability to his teammates. He's got this defense playing well at the perfect time....WHO RIDE BABY!!

    You gotta believe if that Week 17 game is for the division, this team will be FIRED up for Chad. I think you'll see this team rally around their leader and play completely out of their minds.

    They may not have the talent to win that potential game, but you can be sure it will be the best and most complete effort of the season.

    It sounds lame and cliche, but I truly believe these players will want to win that game for Pennington. Its a testament to how important he's been to this organization over the past 6 months.

    And believe me when I tell you: the Jets don't want any part of it. Their fans are terrified of that game.

    Well, for you guys sakes and for the sake of the team, I hope they aren't looking at the jests game yet...that is a million years away...if we don't take care of SF this week, then KC next week, that jests game won't matter... If you want to dip into the aqua honey, fine, but do it with SF, not the jest...they don't matter this week...
