No bad at all. Thanks for posting it. Better to have it twice then not at all. :)

Especially with this link. It is just so much fun to play with and try all of the scenarios. Of course it is even better to be able to play with it know that the Dolphins are right in the thick of things and control their own destiny this late in the season. It has been too long since that was the norm.

If we make it through to win the AFC East and into the playoffs I can see us hosting Baltimore. If that happens then its always harder to beat a team twice. We'll be ready for them in that event. Still though, it will be a HARD fought physical game!

    glitch in the site

    My question is

If we lose to KC and the Jets beat Seattle, do we win the east if we beat the jets in week 17. (assuming new england loses a game)

I think at that point it would depend on who had the better record but I could be wrong.

Ok, so if we lose vs KC, and NE loses to Buffalo, and we beat the Jets, we're still in.

If these same things happen, but NE loses to ARI, and beats Buffalo, they're in.

Regardless of what NE does, if we lose to to KC and the Jets beat Seattle and then we beat the Jets we're in as a WC. If NE loses to Buff then we get the division.

    That's not true at all.....

Ravens and Colts would have WC slots over us...we would need BAL both games for us to sneak in to #6.

If we lose to KC, beat the Jets, but NE wins its last 2 games, NE is #3 seed.

You're right. I had been playing with scenarios and had forgotten about B'more when answering that question.

Just to add to what you have there, one other wild scenario that has us going is the following:

    1. We beat KC but lose to NYJ
    2. Baltimore loses 1 out of 2
    3. New England loses to Buffalo
    4. We tie the Jets and play them in the WC

Ya I know, not going to happen, but it's still rare to see a scenario where both teams have every strategical intent to throw the game to avoid the Ravens.

Nope....if we lose to KC and NE beats Buff we are out.

There are basically only 3 possible scenarios left

    1 - If:
    Fins and Pats win out

    Then:
Fins 11-5 Divisional record 4-2 Common games 10-2 Conference record (8-4) (Fins win tie)
Pats 11-5 Divisional record 4-2 Common games 10-2 Conference record (7-5)
Jets 10-6 Divisional record 4-2 Common games 7-5

    Fins win division

    2 - If:
Fins lose to KC and beats Jets
Pats beat Arizona but lose to Bills
Jets beat Seattle but lose to Fins

    Then:
Fins 10-6 Divisional record 4-2 Common games 9-3
Jets 10-6 Divisional record 4-2 Common games 7-5
    Pats 10-6 Divisional record 3-3

    Fins win division

    3 - If:
Fins beat KC but lose to Jets
Pats beat Arizona but lose to Bills
Jets win or lose to Seattle but beat Fins
Ravens lose to Titans and Jags

    Then:
    Jets 11-5 (or 10-6) Divisional record 5-1
Fins 10-6 Divisional record 3-3 Common games 9-3 Conference record (7-5) (Fins win tie)
Pats 10-6 Divisional record 3-3 Common games 9-3 Conference record (6-6)

    Fins win 6th seed
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    If:
Fins beat KC but lose to Jets
Pats lose to Arizona but beat Bills
Jets lose to Seattle but beat Fins

    Then:
    Jets 10-6 Divisional record 5-1
    Pats 10-6 Divisional record 4-2
    Fins 10-6 Divisional record 3-3

    Fins are out

Hey i was just looking at this thing. If I've got it right if baltimore loses one of their remaining two games they'd be out. If we win out we'd face NE?!

Am I reading this thing right?

Wouldn't mind any scenario that gets us in, but the Ravens are the last team I'd want to play of the possible 1st round teams. I'd rather play the Colts or the Jets tbh

I'd want another shot against the Ravens. Hated seeing Cameron getting the best of us.

I mean, either or you're playing a good team. But at least we can run on the Colts, who are what bottom of the barrel when it comes to run D? We keep Manning off the field and avoid the shootouts they like to play. The Ravens? Yeah I don't want to pass or run against that defense, no way. I understand the revenge factor and all, but we can do that in a later round
