    Yeah my comp does that all the time when a disc is in. However my disc drive is also shot. :yes:

    Does it not read the disc? If it does it may just be freaking over the disc, try another one. :yes:

    no it reads the disc I just don't want to think about having to replace a drive on a three year old computer :lol:

    Well I have a Dell and mine didn't last but about a year. So there you go. :lol:

    I believe you may be right I've went through two ac adapters as well. :lol:

    Did the drive just start humming? I know some drives are just noisy.

    Pioneers man. Those babies are quiet reading and writing.
