CollegeFootballTalk.com - STAR RECRUIT BILLEY JOE JOHNSON DIES AT 17 Top football prospect shoots self in traffic stop | CITIZEN-TIMES.com | Asheville Citizen-Times I'm speechless right now
Even so your life isn't over if you had anything on you there are still other schools that would take you I can't believe he threw his life away like that
Arguably yes. But it does get rid of the threw his life way type thinking; which was legit to say if it was suicide.
He had his whole life ahead of him What was he even doing with a shotgun? It had to be a sawed off one IMO.
You know I was thinking this made no sense until I read your post, because that does make sense. He had no drugs on him or any other contraband, why kill yourself for just getting pulled over?
Something doesnt add up and make sense here....it had to have been hidden to begin with if the Officer didnt see it during his initial conversation and walk to the car. Meaning it wasnt in plain site. So if it wasnt in plain site, why try to hide it (more?) causing it to go off if that is the excuse? Very suspicious and weird. I also wonder where the gun shot wound was....gut shot? chest? head? leg? all would be relevant to help explain what happened. R.I.P.
Yeah, so much to speculate about.....thats why I want details and facts. What does the Tox report show? What does the autopsy regarding the wounds, proximity, etc show? sad, very sad...
He might have panicked, or his hiding spot was an odd position (like behind him, or under his jacket or something - and it went off accidentally from that position?) If we knew where the wound was might be able to better discern what happened. Either way very sad
But if the cop did not see it in the first place... Why need to hide it? It was already obviously out of sight.
I don't think the cop had approached the car yet. Maybe it was visable and he was trying to hurry up and hide it even more
I take that as he had already spoken to the kid, gotten his license and was walking back to the patrol car to do the check!?
Can't say I actually read the article just the main point of it. I still think he was trying to hide it. No way he would shoot the guy after he got his license and got all his info
Yup, as has been said from the start...things need to be answered and the autopsy should help confirm some things that took place, location of wound, proximity to wound, etc.
But even then, wouldn't you assume he'd take his chances of the cop not finding anything? From the story it didn't seem like the cop was even going to search the vehicle. Strange and sad story...
