What I want to know is whose the cheap *** who wouldn't buy sparano a 100 yard long freezer............
what about the game in New England in 2003. the one where the Pats fans were nailing fiedler with snowballs during the game. this game nevermind, it was 28 degrees at that game. http://www.nfl.com/liveupdate/gamecenter/26480/NE_Gamebook.pdf wow, check out the starting lineups from that game. only one dolphins starter remains on the team today. the pats still have a lot of theirs.
I don't care if you are "used" to cold weather or not.. When it gets that cold, all kinds of wierd things can happen. Physically, a body doesn't work the same in the cold as it does in heat. Everything slows down. There will be missed tackles that wouldn't happen if it were 30 degrees, and possibly fumbles, or missed throws and catches. Both teams are playing under the same conditions.. it will come down to any other game.. the team that makes the fewest mistakes, and the "big" plays will win the game. I don't think it is an advantage or disadvantage for either team. What it is, is horrible for the fans that have to sit through it!!!! How would you like to be a camera man on the top of the stadium??? Thank goodness I will be in a warm place watching it on TV.
I agree. I gave up my ticket. I'm going to our warm club house to watch it on 13 TVs. I'm a diehard fan, but you couldn't pay me to be our in that. The update is now -1 low 9 high 10 to 25 below windchill.
I don't expect to win this game... Maybe I am just tempering my enthusiasm, but this game has been scaring me since the Dolphins started their winning streak...
Its going to be a tough one that is for sure but I think if the Fins beat the tough Seahawks and 49ers they can pull this one out as well. It will be close though so an upset wouldn't blow me away. Plus I am fine if they lose as long as the Pats and Jets do as well.
I was at that game. Pretty cool to be at, but, sucked that we lost. It was also the game that our car broke down on the road that leads to the stadium, and me and my buddy had to push the car out of the road, all decked out in our Dolphins gear, and had the stinking Patriots fans driving by, yelling insults at us.
They said the Broncos could also be playing in their coldest game ever on Sunday at Invesco Field at Mile High, and it should be around 20 degrees....I would have thought the Broncos had played in much colder weather than this before, but apparently not.
I'll betcha the temperature setting on the AC inside the Nick Saban Memorial Bubble was set as low as it would go.
Hopefully if it is cold, that will mean a lot of touches for Ricky and Ronnie in normal packages, not the Wildcat.
You are a very smart man.Anything around or at -1 no human should be in that for more then a few min's.
I've got my tickets and am going to be there 100%! Gonna be cold, but gonna be GOOD! I've never made it to a phins game..much less a meaningful one!
I totally expect to win this game.... You Anti Dolphin you.... Screw the cold mate... Win the bloody game....
I'm not sure, the Chiefs run defense is horrible at the best of times, I think the wildcat will give them all sorts of problems.
I just looked and it is 3F in KC right now and with the Wind Chill it's -11.There is also a Wind Chill advisory there today as well. It's going to get up to 10F today but the winds are going to pick up so with the wind chill it's going to around 0/f to -15f.
