Wow what a win and wow, Ricky did not fumble the ball and this is what kills me about football. The ref that made that call could not see Ricky's back side, which shows he had control of the ball until his head and elbow hit the ground. The NFL need to put more camera's in the corner of the field.

Had the Chiefs pulled a miracle and won this game, we'd be pointing to that play.

We dodged another bullet guys and our defense held firm in the 4th as we stole this game from the Chiefs.

Looking at the Chiefs losses they weren't that bad of a team.

But give it up to the coaching staff, who made some GREAT adjustments....GREAT!!! We shut down Gonzalez...and...kept Thigpen in the pocket...we just sat back and made him make mistakes....

 

I was in actual -13 degree weather once and it was bone chilling cold.....If you wear the right stuff its not that bad, but what makes it worse is sweating in it....

I just love this team!!!! I am absolutely hoarse from the game today... God bless our boys for giving us such an incredible season....

I'm cold just watching on tv

 

The seahawks winning is irrelevant other than for us to gloat I suppose. If the Jets lose this week and win next week, either they, or the Patriots go to the playoffs as AFC East champs.

 

Dude...whatever Bro...we won, I knew it all along despite those negative waves man...we are alot like the 2004 Red Sox..."the idiots"...it doesn't make sense why we are winning, we are just finding ways to win.

Sparano finds a way...no joke...Penington is like a Gift, but it takes heart for Fasano to make that run, it takes heart for our D to be beaten on for a Half...and yet we win.

These ain't the WannyPhins...no tent folding for us when times get hard.

Believe that.

 

To me it shows how much difference coaching can make. Our team wasn't a 1 win team last year, talent wise. Our head coach was pathetically inept in that role. This team probably isn't a ten win team based on just pure talent, but they are extraordinarily well coached...and having a true NFL quality starting QB for the first time since '99 sure helps a whole bunch too.

 

We passed the Saints from 03 or so, they no longer can call us losers Ozzy...no wonder Green Machine was talking down Pennington...they are afraid of us..

 

What happens if the Patriots lose to Bills next week and we lose to the Jets, would we still have the tie breaker?

We have struggled to wins against the mighty Chiefs, Niners, Raiders, Seahawks and Rams. Playofs teams like the Ravens, Patriots, Caridnals and Jets have beaten us (in some ways badly).

I will tell you what though. I will believe that this team has erased the Wanny ghost if they go to New Jersey next week, and beat the Jets for the AFC East title.

Until then, this team is slightly above mediocre, beating the teams it is supposed to and losing to playoff caliber teams.

IF they beat the Jets next week to propel them to the playoffs, then it is a new team that has cut ties with its demons.

That was funny - Penny LOOKED chilled to the bone, bless his heart. I'm sure he'd rather have been in a hot shower in the locker room than be interviewed, but he was his typical true "gentleman" and gave a great interview. He's a class act from top to bottom, and we are incredibly fortunate to have him.
