Only one has come from a team not going to the playoffs....and that was to an up and coming Houston team that was better than advertised. Hell, they just beat the team with the best record in the NFL last week in the Titans.

We're basically in the playoffs (looking at next week like a divisonal title game). Congratulations Dolphins and Dolphins fans, we've come a long way since last year, and its been a long, long, long time since we had a game of this magnitude!

The Patsies and Jets aren't going to the playoffs if we win next weekend, which would make 3 of our 5 losses as being against non-playoff teams.

Unfortunately, only 2 of our 10 wins have come against teams that currently have a winning record.

You can only play who they put in front of you though.

I would add the Jets game to your list there brother... Of the 3 left, we had a good chance to beat the RAVENS but fell short on a couple of plays... We got dominated in the AZ and NE games this year.

1 single play in the TEXANS or JETS game would have given us a win in both games...

Which is even more impressive. I guess I should have stated that 4 of the 5 losses were to teams that at least have a very good chance at the playoffs.

I don't see that we got dominated. That game was winnable until the 4th quarter. It was back and forth the whole game.

Its interesting how the season progresses. Had we won in week one, who knows if we ever even unveil the Wildcat against the Patriots and thus, end up forcing opposing teams to spend time game planning and practicing against it?

Its worth wondering about at least.

I also would like to point out that most of our wins against sub-par teams, have been mostly unimpressive and a struggle. Granted things change week to week, but we could be in for a struggle if we get to the playoffs.

Considering that our non-division games have been against the AFC West (putrid) and NFC West (even more putrid) there's a pretty good argument to say that what would normally be an 8-8 team could easily go 10-6 or 11-5 with that schedule.

I'm thinking that any team from the AFC East that makes the playoffs will struggle.

Yeah and we lost it on the last play on a QB sneak. Who would have thought it was a QB draw.

The unreal part is a team that finishes 10-6 may miss the playoffs and what a difference 1 day makes, 1 hour, 1 blown call, 1 second, etc....

    Never give up.

To think Sparano has a great record already....

    Could be?

    That's an absolute given.
This team has played above it's talent level no doubt.
Just enjoy the ride and realize that this isn't the team that's going to take home a championship. The thing everyone should keep in mind when this ride finally comes to an end is that this team is clearly moving in the right direction.

Another good draft and some FA acquisitions and who knows how fast this team can be a true contender in the years to come.
There should be no fan meltdowns upon any loss from here on out. They've already suceeded this year.
