Why is it that I keep seeing posts about how hard it will be to beat the pats in the playoffs? Isn't it most likely that the Ravens will win out (I believe they play the Jags next week) and only one team from the AFC East enters the play offs. Meaning if we win we play the Ravens. I think right now we have the number 3 seed if the playoffs started today (cnnsi.com) So we would play the ravens at home. Am I missing something?

According to ESPN if things stay the same we will play the Ravens again at home on wildcard weekend.

yes, you are correct. The Ravens are in if they win or the Pats lose. The dolphins are in if they win, no matter what the Pats do. The Jets are in if they win and the Pats lose (the Ravens would face the Jets in that situation).

gonna say it again. would have liked to see the jets win today and seal the pats out of it. baltimore wont lose to the jags and if we stumble, the pats are most likely in. i dont see the bills beating the pats and their good friends, the refs

Here's my take in this all, even, if the Pats sneak in, they are not going anywhere.

It's their system, they run that 2 minute drill a lot and try to deliver the knock out blow early (build a big lead),

The Patriots have the talent to run it, but so do we. Its just sometimes I feel we go into the conservative mode and are satisfied exchanging and throwing the punches and taking it a full 12 rounds for a decision.

Warner got his you know what handed to him, because of the field conditions, the timming was not there, neither was Bolden.

If we attack and spread our offense out and pressure Favre on defense, we can win this game...

Is it not shocking how the drama unfloded for this game?

The Jets dump Pennington in favor of Favre, and up until a few weeks ago, it looked like the right decision, but imagine if Pennington pulls this game out...or the Jets win, but so do the Patriots.

The Jets Mangeni (sp?) made a critical call in electing to punt instead of kicking the field goal. I am not sure if it would have had a bearing, because the Jets struggled all day against the Seahawks,,,,,
