Dolphins game moved From 1 to 4:15. Weak. Let's get the Jets more help, by moving it later in the day, so that it's colder.
Im happy with it seeing how I get to watch the game. The jets didnt play too well in the cold yesterday so I don't think it will be an advantage.
Exactly because it's supposed to snow up here Sunday afternoon into evening. I just had my daughter check the forecast for our 1PM game and she said mid 40's, possibility of showers. Would have been great game day conditions.
Oh good Greg. I just had Megs check the forecast - she said mid 40s and rain with snow in the evening. She must have read the wrong one.
In the grand scheme of the weather world, three hours will not mean that much except for a couple of degrees in the last hour of the game. Plus, after yesterday, I don't know why we would worry about it being cold. Also, looking at the GFS (a weather model) for Sunday afternoon, New York looks to be in the mid 30's with no precip (the blue line generally corresponds to below freezing).
bummer....really wanted it to be @ 1pm....(but I think I will be less nervous waiting for this one) The NE game @ 1pm impacts it...but Ravens is also at 4pm so that sucks from any TV shot I may have had.
Sunday Dec 28 Sprinkles Hi: 53° Lo: 29° Chance of light rain showers. High 53F and low 29F. Air Quality: NA, UV Index: NA
I believe that this is good for us. When the Pats win at 1 pm, the Jets may be so demoralized that they'll lay down. It seems to be the culture in New York now, and with nothing to play for they may fold like a cheap suit.
Dist. map should be available tomorow. I'll be in Ohio, near the Columbus area. Any Ohioans think they'll show the Ravens game instead of the Miami game, since it's AFC North territory?
I would think its warmer at 4 than 1. It will start cooling off around 5.15 or later. When I paint in the fall in Upper Michigan I have to start at noon or later because of cold and moisture. Most times I can keep going into the evening with flood lights.
The games in the Northeast in December, it doesn't matter what time of day the game at.It's going to be cold. After playing the KC game, playing in the 40's or 50's will seem like a day at the park to them.
PERFECT!!!!!!! So it's going to rain some, which does suck some because I wanted it to be crystal clear so I could see each and every tear those stupid Jet's Fans including that stupid guy who wears the Firemans Hat cry when Pennington sticks a knife in their backs. This way they can cry out loud and no one will notice it, but I will know in my heart that they are!
The rain will keep a lot of Jet fans home especially after the loss against the Seahawks, OR they'll get rid of the tickets to desperate FINS fans.
This is going to be the longest week ever. Even with Christmas in a few days, Sunday will take forever to get here.
Unfortunately I'm sure we'll get the AFC North game. I really can't stand the AFC North teams or their fans and am so sick of seeing them on TV every Sunday.
I don't care what time the game starts, or where it is at, this is for the AFC East title. If we cannot beat these guys I don't want to back into the playoffs or have us in the playoffs. We have won 8 out of our last 9 games, while the Jets have lost 3 out of their last 4, and the Jets should have lost all four games had Losman not given them the game. We have all the momentum.....we have proved we can play in December and play in cold weather......we have Chad Pennington going back against the team that threw him under the bus.....that should be plenty of motivation to beat the tar out of them.
