I disagree 100% with him on this. Jackson was the very reason they were in that game. He was making great throws, decisions, made plays with his legs.

Clayton should be dogging on Adrian Peterson who I believe fumbled 4 times! Jackson was driving up and down the field on Atlanta but as soon they reached 30-35 yards from the endzone there would be a fumble. Jackson had 1 fumble that was really his fault and it was when the ball went across midfield 20 yards. The others were Birk, Peterson, and Berrian. Gus would have did worst in that game because he simply can't make plays with his legs. I feel bad for Tavaris Jackson getting blamed like this :pity:

I watched a good portion of that game too, I thought Jackson was doing well. He was throwing crisp and for the most part accurate passes, making pretty good decisions when passing, and when things broke down he did a good job rushing as well. Sure, he probably needed to protect the ball a bit better, he was pressured an awful lot too, but uh, Adrian Peterson fumbled I think 3 times as well and lost 2 that I saw.

I agree man, I didn't think Jackson did bad at all in that game. Too bad Clayton is pinning it on him.. I dont think he was really the problem

Peterson Fumbled 4 times I believe, including one that was on their final drive. There was no way Frerotte makes the same plays Jackson does perhaps Frerotte does worst and Chilly gets blamed for benching the hot hand. Bottom line is no way in hell Jackson lost them that game I mean he did miss a wide open Berrian on 4th and 7 and that fumble that went about 20 yards besides the plays he made overcome all that.

There is no way that Clayton is going to dog on one of the poster boys for the NFL in Peterson. Jackson is not terrible and will not get the same breaks that Peterson does.
