Has the final forecast been issued for the game tomorrow? The last I heard, it was going to be 50ish, cooling with no rain by 4pm tomorrow.
Day: Chance of light rain showers. High 63F, humidity 50%. Winds WSW at 15 to 20 mph. Air Quality: NA, UV Index: 0 45% Night: Clear skies. Low 32F. Winds WNW at 10 to 15 mph.
100% chance of scattered Favres 100% of booing from those green pieces of crap 100% moisture from all the crying 100% Chad gets the last laugh 100% Dolphins will win the DAMN GAME.
Thanks! And this might be an odd question, but is WSW winds at 15 to 20 mph unusual for this time of year? And if you've been to the stadium in similar conditions, will that really blow even harder down on the field for the game? My only real memory of the Meadowlands was the late 80's Giants games with the wind blowing hard and the game was won or lost by who won the coin toss and had the wind on their side.
It is always more windy at the Meadowlands, that stadium the wind just swirls, and if they leave the tunnel open it will be worse. It has been a very windy fall and early winter
I wonder how many people remember those doors being opened for opposing teams field goal tries? I thought the NFL passed a rule about those doors being open, like if they were open, they had to stay open for the entire game?
I remember going to a Giants game one December back in the mid-80s, and our seats were literally in the second-to-last-row... I swear the planes coming into Newark were lower than we were. It was unbelievably, incredibly COLD... Glad to read the temps will be warmer tomorrow for our team.
I'm getting so pumped for this game, I've been very good at watching what I say this week, I even visted gaggreen and held my tongue. Tomorrow though, Send the kids to a different city. If we win, I will be crying. I hate that organization with a passion, I do think about them everyday when I'm taking a crap. God help me tomorrow, my neighbors have already been warned. Bring on those green pieces of crap.
That was a Bill Parcells thing, and I believe that the doors have to be either open or close for both teams.
Okay boys and girls, at 7:45 its already a balmy 48 degrees, its foggy and damp. They are still saying it will get into the 60's today with showers. The sun starts to go down around 4:00, so I would say the game will be played with weather in the 50's and upper 40's as the day game goes on.
According to undergroundweather.com, at 4 PM it is suppposed to be 58 degrees with 13 mph winds from the west and a 50% chance of light showers. By games end, the temperature is supposed to be closer to 50. Can't complain about that.
Yep - beautiful day for football. They're saying 63 degrees for a high and it's overcast with a 40% chance of rain.
Just got back from the store picking up my battle "supplies". Its a warm 58 degrees at the moment, slight wind no rain. By kickoff , the temps will be in the mid 60`s, winds will kick up a bit with a 40% chance of showers. The weather should NOT be a major factor today. My clock dont seem to be moving. Anyone else have this terrible problem?
Nobody could throw in those Buffalo winds. They've passed maybe ten times in this one and it's almost the fourth quarter. That might be the fastest game ever played.
Expect strong winds at the game, the Meadowlands is pretty much like an open prairie and if the winds are 15 mph where I live - about a half hour south - expect them to be 25-30 at Giants Stadium.
Winds have really started to pick up in the past 1/2 hour here in Jersey, expect the tunnel to be open, if I was the Jets I would. Very, Very gusty all of the sudden
Well now, we shall see, if Favre's arm is tired, they may want to keep those doors closed, now we must win the coin toss, that used to make a huge difference in those old Giants and Redskins games. "Tails never fails, Tails never fails"
