The reason I ask this question is that Jalen Parmele who was on PS for several weeks is now on the Ravens.

I don't know but I will say the way we ran the wildcat yesterday was beautifull. The handoff/flipback to pennington, and sure td that was dropped by Williams was masterfull as was the Ronnie Brown pass that went incomplete. Both those would have resulted in scores/big gainers if the catch is made and should work when set up like they were against the Jets.

I highly doubt they can get any information from Parmele. With Dan Henning up at night with the bats, making multiple formations, they'll have to worry about that. The Wildcat will always take some time away from our opponents time, even though the Ravens played it well last time IIRC.

I'm still a little sad that Parmele got away from us.

Parmele? I'd be very surprised if he had any information that they don't already know.

Well the running game needs to be developed just a bit more by involving ronnie more. Also, passing to our WR's down feild should be incorporated just a bit more also.

I think we run one of the most creative and complex offenses in the National Football League, really. We used the spread yesterday - with 3 WRs and 2 TEs no less - something I don't think we've shown at all this season. We also showed a new motion shotgun formation where both Ricky and Ronnie started out lined up just behind the LOS and then shifted to stand on either side of Pennington. Don't forget we've also got a funky inverted wishbone that we use, as well as the famous Wildcat package, that actually has several iterations and formations within it. This is all on top of our basic formations, though we've got plays with similar looks that come out of different formations.

Rex Ryan better plan on bringing a lunch or buying some pizza and staying up late this week. He's going to have a lot to try and game plan for. We've become more unpredictable and more varied since our loss to them early in the season.

They're an elite unit, no doubt. I just feel like we've got a lot more of our playbook open this time out than we did last time, that's all.

75% of it on both offense and defense... The offense playcalling is decent, the defensive playcalling is horrendous! We get no pressure on the opposing QB, no good blizting, no stunts, horrible... If we do call a good blitz, Pauly sends them up the wrong gap.

Baltimore could be the best playoff team in the league right now the way Flacco and the defense is playing... We have NO room for error now

We've been creative in getting our TE's and RB's in the passing game (no surprise when you consider what we have at WR). If we get into the red-zone, you can be sure the Ravens LB's will key in on our only receiving threats there (the TE's and sometime RB's). I think Brandon London could be a dark-horse guy in that situation. The Ravens defensive weakness (if it ever is one) is their CB's. Unfortunately, we can't exploit that since WR is our offensive weakness. Most likely, they will dare us to throw it to WR's since we don't exactly have a big-target, dependable, and quick WR who can make life miserable for their CB's. The safeties are essentially good enough to shut down almost any deep balls. They don't need Parmele to figure these things out. Plus, Cam knows Ginn pretty well considering he drafted his whole family on us. :wink2:

The Ginn TD pass yesterday was the first passing TD to a WR in 5 games... The last time a WR caught a TD pass was Camarillo week 12 against the Rats.. So since week that last WR TD catch he has thrown 8 TD's, all going to TE's or RB's.

That is correct. Not a surprise considering the only 6'3 and up receiving threats are TE's. RB's have gotten a few either on short passes made long or out of the backfield. Interestingly, Jerheme Urban, the 4th string WR for Arizona, has double the TD's that our leaders (Ginn and Camarillo) have.

To be honest, if I was Sparano, I'd worry less about my creative offense and worry more about the Ravens creative offense. Having two QB's in a wildcat formation...excuse me, Suggs package...can be a lot more explosive than shifting around RB's.

Not to take anything away from the Phins offense, but for the first in a decade the Ravens have a QB and an offense that can score and score fast. Flacco is playing head and shoulders above the level he was at when the Ravens played Miami earlier this year. At that time the Ravens were lucky if he threw a pass to Mason longer than 15 yards. And forget passes to other WR's or TE's. Now he's checking off and throwing to his 2nd or 3rd option at WR or TE and he's heaving the ball 50+ yards and hitting receivers in stride.

    Now, about that defense! :tongue2:

It's going to be a great game, no matter what.
