We were only two plays away from being a 13 -3 team. Their are many Dolfans who won't even be alive to see next year, so i hope they are enjoying this year.
The Ravens have been hearing that crap all year, too. You play the schedule the NFL gives you. If you win, you win. If you don't, you don't. The Dolphins and the Ravens are 11-5 teams that are in the playoffs. Now....the Patriots?
Actually you're right Marty let's just stick between 11-5 and 15-1 from now on because I don't want to see 5-11 or heaven forbid the record from the season that shall not be named
well we were 9-7 with Saban, 6-10 his second year, 1-15 with Cam, now 11-5. We have had some talent on this team, even last year, but weve had some bad coaching and no continuity. So I believe we are an 11-5 team.
I think we're a 12-4 team. We never should have lost to the crap Jets week 1 on a lucky hail mary pass.
For Pete's sake, I'm still in euphoria over our win. And already some one tries to bust my bubble. We ARE a good team, or we wouldn't have made it this far. I've never cared about all the predictions, the stats on "how many teams have won a game played in the rain, 4 weeks after farve last shaved" etc. etc. IMO it all comes down to the team that plays hard, with heart and plays as a team. I just can't see any one taking anything away from these guys & the coach, not now. As some one said, we are what we are. And that's a good dang football team. I refuse to be logical right now and worry about a bunch of junk I have no control over. I just want a W come Sunday. And I think we are more than capable of bringing it home. Why can't we keep things positive this week? I'm sure going to try.

Pretty damn sure we are 11-5....and if we arent...please dont wake me from this amazing dream I am having!!!
well we are a 11-5 team but records dont mean much. I didnt think we were as bad as our record indicated last year and i dont think we're as good as our record indicates this year. We improved slightly talentwise year to year but immensely teamwise and disciplinewise. The defense and offense need playmakers to make this teamn take the next step. Still, enjoy the ride. if anyone has deserved this its the dolphins fans who have endured the last few seasons
We are in fact an 11-5 team and actually should be 12-4 if not 13-3 (Houston and NYJ games) but those things happen in football so there are no excuses there. But we are an 11-5 team.
I'm only 34 and my shoulder pops out of place,my right knee has tendonitis, left knee is missing most of it's cartilage,,,,i have bone spurs in both feet. I really don't know anyone under the age of 60 that has a body more beat down then me.Just waking up and walking 20 feet to go to the bathroom is the hardest thing i do all day, even if i walk 12 miles that same day or work out with weights for two hours.Just walking when i 1st get up is by far the worst part of my day. In no way was i trying to make a "dig" at older people i've just had to many of my friends,family members and lovers get murder.......So in my eyes it's not a very wise thing to do,,, to downplay the year we have had.When next year is not a givin for any of us. P.S. We are only 3 games away from the Super Bowl this year.Next year we start off 19 to 18 games away from it.

Bro, I wasn't trying to get on you, I was making (sorta) a joke. I took no offense at all. The truth is, the way my health has degenerated over the last year I "did" say to myself that I can't croak at least until the Fins bring the trophy home. In fact saturday I felt so crappy, I considerably less selfish and all I was hoping for was to last until we beat the jets..
This was an overachieving team. We had to be in order to get 11 wins and unfortunately, it was as far as it took us. No way would I trade that for anything or look any way down on the team. They did their job and some but we went as far as we could.
He was just being honest, nothing wrong with that. The fact that you guys even did what you did this year was unreal; expecting more is just unreasonable (not impossible, but c'mon).
Well, with Parcells and Sparano (who got robbed out of COY because the media can't get over their infatuation with Atlanta and Matt Ryan) running things, better days lay ahead. Play your cards right this offseason, you may get another chance next year.
I don't like the notion that Miami didn't deserve to be in the playoffs. Especially from a Dolphins fan. There are several teams in right now that I know they could beat. They've beaten San Diego once already. It's not like every playoff team has to beat every other playoff team. Sometimes you draw a good matchup, sometimes you don't. They will get to work in the offseason making sure they are good enough next year to beat any team they draw. And they will be back next year.
