Who do you think wins? If I had to go with momentum I'd say the Cardinals have lost some and the Falcons will out play them. If I had to say veteran presence at QB obviously ARI. I think it will probably be close, though. Unless Turner has a stunning game (definitely possible). ARI will win, I think. It's on at 4.
I think Arizona is going to jump out to an early lead, something like 14-0. Atlanta will abandon the run game a little and Ryan, being a rookie, is going to fold under the pressure and Arizona pins their ears back and rushes the passes. Final score will be something like 24-7 Arizona.
Wow, I can't believe I'm the first one to pick Atlanta. I think Atlanta is going to win 31-20. I just don't see the Cards being able to turn it on, becuase they haven't played very hard as of late.
I was thinking this and secretly i think atlanta will win but I like picking against the majority. and the majority of people seem to have that thought that you just had.
I'm going with Arizona in this one. I think Warner will get Arizona jump started early and put a lot of pressure on Ryan to bring Atlanta back. Kurt Warner has a lot of big game experience while Ryan has none. I think Arizona wins this one 31-17.
Yeah, didn't look off his man and Ralph Brown just dropped in zone and stepped in front of the receiver.
That was an ordinary catch actually, IMO. Neither the Houston or Milloy was in position to knock it away. Fitzy only needed a fraction of a second to get separation, his speed and jumping ability did the rest.
I gotta say Im very impressed with the Arizona defense so far. They seem to be stuffing Atlanta's scripted offense. I'll be curious to see how they do once they get into the 2nd quarter. It's obvious right now who wants it more though. Arizona has taken a lot of criticism over the past month. And their biggest flaws appear to be mended so far.
I couldn't believe it when the announcers said this is the first time Arizona (including previous cities) has hosted a playoff game in 61 years....
Its still early in this game but it looks like it could go the opposite way. Edgerrin James is killer to Atlanta right now. He's bouncing from hole to hole and doing cutbacks every chance he gets. Atlanta doesn't seem to be disciplined and they're going to get absolutely drilled like that.
Edge may have lost a step over the years but he has great vision. All he needs are the blockers out in front and he can set up blocks for you with his cuts. The problem has been Arizonas lack of commitment to the running game, and poor run blocking. Now when they do block we see he still has PLENTY left in the tank.
Yeah, he does still have great vision. The thing is that he hasn't been used much coming into this game, he's averaged roughly ten carries per game and he took part in thirteen contests so its hard to determine just how much he has left in my opinion.
Looks like Atlanta has adjusted their play calls, just as I expected. The winner may need 35 points in this one.
I think this game is almost over. A 3 point lead plus a 21 to 9 TOP advantage should do it for the Falcons. Atlantas offense is doing well now and the Cardinals can't hit a big play on every possession.
thats so not true. atlanta could just as easily turn the ball over to start the 2nd half, and be down 21-17 again. TOP doesnt really matter when youre playing arizona. they can score very quickly from anywhere on the field.
Well, let's see. I added 'almost', but I'm sure the Falcons offense will control the game against a defense that already had to be on the field for 43 plays.
Atlanta is doing what they can to give the ball to Arizona. Matt Ryan now has 2 turnovers. The Cards may be the only team in the playoffs getting less respect than the Dolphins.
but unlike the dolphins, they dont earn a whole lot of respect. They played horrible lately and did not even show up for the patriot game
