Anyone else think that was a fumble? Maybe it was just me...

yeah, it's turned into a pretty enjoyable game so far, the Chargers are climbing all over the Colts at the moment.

And a product is not elite.

He's no Manning. He doesn't have the accuracy and incredible in-game adjustments like Manning but he's a very good QB at a young age IMO.

I'm not going around calling anyone 'elite', I'm saying that McNabb is sold short by everybody. I think he's extremely underrated and he's a very good QB.

Exactly. If you order your list by elite passers, then we may be on the same page.

Thanks, always enjoy talking to you as well man. Just wish we could have more of these

It was definitely a fumble. The problem, though, is that referees have used instant replay as a crutch and none of them have the stones to call a play a fumble on the field.

not elite, just cusp. meaning he can still regress because he hasnt proven he is elite yet.

I don't see him on the cusp either. He hasn't shown me anything to be honest. Honestly, what has he shown you? He's thrown vertical passes to Randy Moss (15 or somewhere around there) and he's dumped it off to Kevin Faulk and Wes Welker, two guys who get open because of Moss' demands.

I honestly believe that any halfway decent quarterback you put in that system will look great. Obviously not the guys like Ryan Leaf who were flat out busts, but any average quarterback in the league.

Thats one of the reasons I do NOT believe that Brady is the best QB in the league. There hasn't been much of a dropoff if any with Cassell. Insert Brady and I still think that team is 11-5, maybe 12-4.

I think Brady is a helluva player man. I really do. What bothers me is the whole Spygate issue. I put him up there because I truly think he's a helluva player but I always second guess my opinion on him because of Spygate.

I was hoping he'd become a free agent and then get overpaid by a desperate team (49ers, Lions), and then show his true colors. It'd be hilarious :pointlol:

Take him out of the Pats system, he would look bad IMO.

I think he's much better than your average QB. I'd still put him behind Brees/Manning and maybe even Rivers and possibly more. Only because I believe in that system those guys would have the same or more success.

I also agree that Mcnabb is an extremely underrated QB.

I think just remove Josh McDaniels from there and he's that same guy who couldn't win a job in college from Matt Lienart, the same guy who was the tenth pick in the draft and hasn't done squat.

he has shown me that he wont cost his team the game. he can execute the coaches vision of what they are trying to do. he has been able to make plays with his feet later in the season, when previously he assumed the fetal position. he really has been great in that system for them. IMO, we're gonna credit Penny for his mistake free execution, Cassel deserves some of that same credit. He did a great job. 11-5 with no tom brady, thats the same thing we did.

    He's very...stalker-like.

I think those guys are elite as well and agree that they would have same success, if not more..

Definitely in my opinion. The guys been beaten up by the media every year, lacks playmakers on the outsides and has always done more than what he's had IMO but still gets no credit. I just don't get it.

I was watching ESPN once, and they were talking about how the QB battle was close between Leinart and Cassel in college. Right. I love how they just hype him up because he's on their beloved Patriots :001_rolleyes:

Now I REALLY wish he leaves the Patriots sometime.

For sure. He's played his whole career with mediocre receivers, beat up runningbacks, and still put up numbers. The one year he has a top notch receiver (Owens, even if he is a headache) he takes them to the superbowl. Yet no-one mentions him among the top guys.

Imitating Superman? What's that suppose to mean. I just found it funny that there were three guys disagreeing with everyone else. Its not like I said you guys are wrong and we're right. :dunno:

Cassel may be intelligent and able to execute whats given to him but his gameplans seemed to be dumbed down as they can get.

BTW, I think McDaniels should totally be an NFL coach. Him and Pioli should pull an Ireland Sparano and take off somewhere :)

I disagree about McNabb being "underrated", to me, he is exactly where he is supposed to be, he has had playmakers and all pros around him, he does "okay".

He's more accurate then people give him credit for, but to me, what is lacking in his game is fire, he has no passion for football IMO.

Colts...failed to convert 4th and 1 Chargers ball at the Colts 26...

Oh. My bad for not understanding it.

When was this? Outside of Terrell Owens and a Brian Westbrook, whose a very good player but gets banged up every year, he's had no one.

The only playmaker he has right now is Westbrook. Considering that he seems to spend as much time injured as on the field, and even when he is on the field he is hurt, that isn't much.

The one year he had a real WR he took them to the Superbowl and had a great year.
