Pure crap just to sell more jeresys and hats. There was nothing wrong with the old road uniforms and I'm praying to the baseball gods that they change back in 2010 since they've been getting a lot of heat from fans. Especially for the Sox logo hat, why? The 'B' was great. And they also don't need another road alternate uniform either at this rate we'll have more jeresys than the Rangers and Mets soon. The Sox had one of the best home/road jeresys in baseball (along with the Yankees, Cubs, Dodgers and Giants in my opinion). I really don't know why they changed it to something so boring... well besides the whole money thing of course.

i agree, the traditional uni's look better. as for the best looking unis (mentioned above), i like all those plus the Brave's and Card's home jerseys.
Agreed with St. Louis, I should have mentioned them. I like the Braves as well but I don't think they're as nice/classy as the ones I mentioned above, I'd put them in the 2nd tier uniforms along with Cleveland, Philly and Detroit.
The new old-looking uniforms are butt ugly Also if the color scheme is red/navy, red lettering and numbering always looks better than navy lettering and numbering. The removal of the sleeve stripe is also a downgrade.
LMAO.... did someone actually get paid for this redesign? They forgot the clothes line and clothespins to go along with the Laundry only theme.
Isn't that hat just an alternate though? The "B" hats are still the main ones, no? The logos are the same too aren't they? Just the Sox one is now the primary? And I actually really like the new away jerseys. Still has the vintage Sox feel. And didn't their away jerseys use to look like that before they put "BOSTON" in red?

The 'B' hat is classy, there's no need to change it. Again it's simply for extra money. I respect how the Yankees are the only team that have 1 home jeresy and 1 away jeresy and 1 hat. I wish the Sox wouldn't mess around with that stuff. But hey I have hope they will change back in 2010.
