I don't agree. Our defense played far from great today. Did you happen to see any pass rush from us today? Any? How much time did Flacco have today? You give any QB that much time and they will pick you apart every time. We've seen that too many times.

Late to the ...'party'....but just wanted to chip in to say what a thrill it was getting to see our Phins in the playoffs this year! Just to be there was a dream, I was living every moment of it. A shame we lost, and we have some work to do, but the future is bright and we are going to make some noise in the years to come!!!

Yeah, our defense played so great they decided to tackle Mgahee before he got to yard 49 on his long run...

    c'mon

i normally never post on here, but i really am disappointed with much of everyones' responses to the game. it was a horrible loss and i'm not going to lie about that but, (in many cases here) you want to blame people for the loss. the ravens were the better team today. sure, i have my opinions on what cost us the game, or what we could've done better, but the bottom line is that we made it to the playoffs. you absolutely cannot blame pennington for anything this season (jets fans are saying their "told you so's", but he got us further than we have been in 8 years and the guy they left him for got them nowhere). if it wasn't for his addition to the team, how do you think we would've finished this season? our boys have way surpassed my (and many of your) predictions this year and i am very proud of our team today. i thank them all for the wonderful season and i am very, very proud to be a dolphan. i apologize for the rant, i've been drinking. tubby

The D did play pretty well guys. They didnt generate much of a pass rush, but aside from that and the late McGahee run when the game was all but over anyway, they played well. They had to deal with routinely terrible FP, the offense not sustaining drives, playing from behind etc. They largely held the Ravens to FGs or punts. Just the Ravens D and ST outplayed ours badly.

If we can find some people to generate a consistent passrush for next year, and add either a shutdown CB or ballhawk safety we will be plain nasty.

I thought the play calling for you all gave up on their bread and butter too early. Dolphins moved the chains and kept the Ravens D on the field in some heat with the short and outside passing game.

    Great TD catch though.

I mentioned that in another thread that I thought the Ravens DL of Pryce, Ngata and Bannan would own our interior OL. I was wrong in that Pryce owned Carey as well when he went up against him. The only OL who held his ground was Long, we really have a gem in him.

Congrats to your guys, your defense was just too much for our offense.

Next week will be completely different though. That Titans OL is so much better than ours it will be like night and day. You won't get to Collins with 3 and 4 man rushes like what happened yesterday.
Also Flacco will not get anything like the time he had yesterday with Haynesworth, KVB and Kearse coming after him. The Titans defense is more than physical enough to stand up to the Ravens offense, I'm not convinced you will wear down those guys.
Should be a very interesting, physical game.

Our defense was a lot better due to Ferguson and Solia playing. A 3-4 defense needs a NT to function.

Why is it so hard for people to give the Ravens credit? Our team was whipped at the LOS on both sides of the ball. Pennington made some terrible decisions, but when the Ravens made us one dimensional (by completely shutting down our run game), Chad had no choice but to force the ball down the field against some outstanding athletes in their secondary (Ed Reed is one of the best ever).

The Ravens are a much more mature, physical and experienced football team, and they took it to us in our own house. There's no shame in this, especially after what this Dolphins team accomplished this season.
